Features of the Forum In this board, you will find threads for each of the features of the forum explaining how to use them. Please ask questions about them there.
This is something I didn't want to ever have to do, but the time has come to admit my limitations and my mistakes. The forum is going to close in November. Here's the main reasons why:
1) While writing is a tool I use to help with my mental health, it is not the only tool I use. At this point keeping the forum alive for the sake of my mental health will end up causing more problems than relieving them. I'm also going to teach at a much larger...
Hi all. I meant to include ways of staying in touch in my last announcement post, but forgot about it due to the craziness of real life.
I'm sure at some point down the road someone will try and revive this type of forum. Or maybe some other story websites exist that I or someone else doesn't know about. Either way, the biggest gripe I had about The Black Van shutting down was how the admin team told us then immediately disabled the website to...
Due to the forum closure and my upcoming busy schedule I have decided to not run contests or community contests. If anyone else wants to run a contest, you are of course free to do so until the forum ends on November 9th.
You might be wondering, what are these two new symbols next to the notification bell?
Star: That is your current reputation. If you click on it, it will redirect you to your reputation page that shows you who rated which of your posts how high and when.
Diamond: The number next to the diamond are your RC , your Ravishment Coins. RC is the forum's currency and its primary purpose is to allow you to unlock stories in the Community Favorites...
You might have seen in the Who is online? statistic at the bottom of the campus page usernames that end with like Google or Bing and wonder now: What are these bots? Is the Academy cooperating with Google? Are these bots tracking me? And what exactly are they doing here? Let me answer these question.
First, no these bots do not track you, nor am I cooperating with any of the firms associated with these bots. These bots are on basically every...
Hi
I thought I had posted this Q already, but cannot see it. So, apologies if I did and it was taken down.
Does a dog licking a womans face clean after messy oral (not involving dog) qualify as bestiality?
Have written story with said humiliating scene, but wasn't sure about posting. Honestly not looking to test boundaries or break rules.
I've got some how-to questions and didn't see a thread elsewhere, so I'm making one here. If anyone has a question, we could use this.
I'll start. How do I link to a chapter in a story? I'd like to create chapters of stories and the templates have a place for it, but I can't figure out/find the url for the chapter posts to link to that. That will help down the line as some stories of mine will be long. The Club's first story itself is between...
Hi everyone, been lurking on here for a while, including back when RU was around, and the new reputation system has made me decide to actually write out some of my story ideas.
The problem I am seeing is that there seem to be a lot of tag options and I was wondering if there is anywhere that gives a description of them.
For example in the current community contest i was writing a story for i saw that a required tag was Con/NonCon does that...
First of all: I get why the limitations are there.
No one wants threads that are just a long stream of NSFW pics to collect wank material.
But I guess even outside of stories there might be the need to illustrate something with a picture. Or maybe even discuss a picture in the first place.
And as it is written now: the rule only allows the Author of the story to use pictures inside the story. Technically the comments are off limits too.
I don't know about all of you, but most of my reading time is, ideally, on mobile.
However, reading this forum on mobile, at least in my experience, has been less than ideal. I have to zoom in, the width is out of whack, the font size is too small, etc etc.
Is there a quick or easy way to browse and read on mobile that I am missing?
Looking for a noncon story from several years ago. The story was based around the short lived TV series Time Of Your Life with Jennifer Love Hewitt. In this one her character is looking for her long lost dad and she is taking a cab ride to this address. When she can't find her money she is raped by the cabbie who I think was Arab.
When she gets to the address a man answers and acts like he knows who she is talking about but she passes out from...
Back on Rashivement U I got help locating a movie... I'm hoping I'll be just as successful here.
Anyhow, the scene in question involves a woman being forcibly drugged in the men's room of a bar where she is taken prone doggy style on the floor. When her attacker finishes, she is left face-first on the tile with her legs splayed apart. Probably late 80's or later.
I ask because i have some that i've written, but they're usually not rape , exactly....more like torture, maybe....? there's a lot of humiliation and sometimes violence, but i'm not even sure any of them are actually about RAPE itself......
I wanted to ask if there could be consideration for having RA hosting relevant artwork/pictures?
It would be nice to have it hosted on RA, rather than being at the mercy of external hosting sites that could delete content at any moment.
But instead of having a random non-sensical free-for-all style posting that could blow up storage requirements... I'm asking if there could be an allowance for illustrating stories, and just keeping it in the...
Sorry if this is a newb question, but I'm trying to create a hyperlink using the title of my piece and the url for it. But I can't find a formatting page for how to connect the two. Can anyone show me an example? Thanks in advance.
I caught the posting about not slipping in thousand-year-old lolis and related shenanigans, but what about the other end of the spectrum? In a sci-fi story, a character could be an AI sexbot that looks, acts, has memories and skills, and otherwise comes off as fully adult, but literally came off the assembly line yesterday. Or, for example, a fan-fic about Star Trek Voyager might involve Kes, who comes from a species that dies of old age before...
They were an author on RavishU. I’m trying to find a story of theirs from that site “The 911 call.” It was about a 911 operator getting off on the fact that a caller was being stalked by a killer. I don’t remember whether the killer caught her or not. So it might not be suitable for this site even if Impaler49152 starts posting here. I’d like to ask them to email it to me, but I can’t find a current email address for them.
Hi, this is just to help me stay within the rules when posting and when I hopefully get around to writing new stories.
Is it acceptable to have a victim threatened with something extreme, so long as it isn't actually done in the story? This could be useful as a way to get a girl to degrade herself in an entertaining way, so the threat of a gun or a knife is a handy story device. But I'm not into snuff or maiming so it's no trouble to make sure...
I need some feedback from you guys regarding a feature of the phpBB software we're using. It's called post review and it is currently enabled on all boards. Here is what it does:
So basically, if you reply to a topic but while you were typing your reply somebody else commented, your post does not get published immediately. The idea is that you can then adjust your post to what the new comment added to the topic. The issue in my view is: This...
This was one of my favorite pornos. The guy forces the girl to say rape my cunt then rapes her. After he cums in her pussy he mentions something about her becoming a mother and that made him a mama fucker. He then puts lube in her ass and rapes her asshole. Her screams as it happens are fucking hot.
No idea where I found this video, and the website a the top right of the screen no longer exists.
How do I attach a poll to a thread I started myself? Apparently, it's possible. I've seen and answered polls before, but I can't find a way to create one myself.
I haven't tested in browsers other than Chrome, but on the View Profile page I noticed that avatar images are often squished. (Or is it just me?) I wrote some CSS that fixes it.
(If admins are interested and don't know how to add custom CSS I can bundle it into a phpBB style that can be more easily installed.)
No hard feelings if this is not wanted or not a priority. Feel free to disregard.
Sorry if it's already mentioned, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to find the link to a specific forum post so that I can properly index the chapters of my stories.
Viewing the forum as a guest, I've noticed the Guest Questions sub-board with the 'Dear guest, please read this before you post here.' thread by @Claire .
On entering the thread I see the following message.
