Stories in the Hall of Fame cost 100 RC to unlock. For Pillars of the Community it's only 50 RC. RC can be earned by gaining reputation. Each reputation point you earn gives you 100 RC which allows you to unlock one story!

So whichever story you want to read here, you only need to provide one piece of genuine feedback for one other author in the Public or Popular Stories boards. Chances are, you will gain on average more than 1 reputation point per feedback post.
