Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Ravishment Academy. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Code of conduct

    1. Treat all members with respect and care.
This community thrives on mutual respect. Harassment, personal attacks, or hateful behavior will not be tolerated. #
    2. We draw a clear line between fantasy and reality.
Normal societal rules of appropriate behavior apply here. Enjoying erotic fiction, including stories with darker themes, does not change that. #
    3. Consent is key.
Nonconsensual fantasies can be fun — nonconsensual reality is not. Do not engage in sexual role-play or sexting with another user unless they have given explicit consent. Registering on this forum does not imply consent to participate in any form of sexual interaction. #
    4. No kinkshaming.
Everyone has different preferences. Respect others’ kinks, even if they aren’t your own. #
    5. No discrimination.
Discrimination based on gender, race, age, or any other personal characteristic is not allowed. Treat all members equally. #
    6. No contemporary politics.
There are plenty of places online for political debates—this is not one of them. Keep political discussions off the forum to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere. #
    7. Advertising or Linking Other Websites
It is acceptable to advertise another website in a single thread or your signature. It is a plus if you are able to get the other website to link us, but it is not required. #
  2. Rules for posting stories

    1. Forbidden Content

      1. Necrophilia #
      2. Bestiality #
      3. Sexual acts involving underage(<18) characters #
      4. Extreme violence, i.e. extreme torture, gore, splatter, snuff #
    2. Formal Criteria

      2. Every post of a story must contain at least 1000 words of story content. Flash fiction - i.e. stories between 250 and 1000 words - is the only exception to this rule. Flash fiction must be completed within the opening post and may not be continued in later posts. #
      3. Any story topic must include the following two sentences before the beginning of the story:

The author of this story has read and accepted the rules for posting stories. They guarantee that the following story depicts none of the themes listed in the Forbidden Content section of the rules. #
      4. Any multi-part story published over several posts must include an index with links to the individual parts in the opening post. The index must be kept up to date as new parts are added to the story. #
      5. Only one topic per story. All continuations to the story must be added as replies to the original topic. #
      6. Authors must apply certain tags to their stories. Details for the use of mandatory and optional tags can be found here:Tag Guidelines #
      7. Authors accept that their stories will be moved from the Public Stories board to the Popular Stories and Community Favorites boards upon reaching certain reputation thresholds. #
      8. Authors accept that their stories that violate at least one rule will be moved to the Rule Violating Stories board where they will stay until edited to be in line with the rules. Rule violating stories older than 30 days will be deleted. #

      1. English #
      2. German #
  3. Rules for posting images and videos

    1. NSFW images and videos can be used for writing-related purposes, for example as illustrations of a story or as concept art for the presentation of a story idea. They should not be used in contest stories, but can be included in a story after the contest is over. Artist members can create threads to post their own artwork, but topics that function as porn galleries of found images are explicitly not allowed. #
    2. NSFW images and videos, either embedded or linked to, must be hidden from unregistered users using the hidden BBCode. NSFW avatars are allowed and do not need to be hidden from unregistered users. #
    3. The rules for Forbidden Content apply to images and videos as well. #
    4. Each user is individually responsible for complying with the applicable laws. In particular, each user is personally liable for complying with copyright and personal rights to images and videos. #
    5. For images and videos depicting real people, the name of the person, the year the photo or video was taken, and the source must be stated. Do not post images or videos of real people unless you are certain that they are free to use, in the public domain, or you have explicit permission. #
