I've got some how-to questions and didn't see a thread elsewhere, so I'm making one here. If anyone has a question, we could use this.
I'll start. How do I link to a chapter in a story? I'd like to create chapters of stories and the templates have a place for it, but I can't figure out/find the url for the chapter posts to link to that. That will help down the line as some stories of mine will be long. The Club's first story itself is between 30 and 50 chapters.
Also, could I get an HCU tag for Harbor City Universe? I'd like to label which of my stories take place there. Who knows, maybe other people want to write about it down the line, too.
Thanks,
Brocc

Re: How-To Questions
How to get a link to the specific post in your thread, look at the small post icon, next to the by Author of post, right click that and copy url, that will link directly to that post.
I have also created a bbcode that allows you to create your own sections/anchors inside a post, and described those in the bbcode thread, so you can look there if you want to be able to jump into a specific point inside a post. I hope that helps.

Danke, der Tipp war hilfreich. Die gleiche Frage habe ich mir nämlich auch schon öfters gestellt.

@Vela Nanashi. Thanks. I had no clue what you were talking about and spent way too long looking at the right side of the window before seeing there was a name on the left side of the post. I'll try out the bbcode after I do this by hand a couple times.

Re: How-To Questions
As for your own chapters, it's even easier once you've added the first chapter.
You have to edit the first post anyway, so first open the chapter you just wrote, as Vela described in the second tab. Then go to the first post of your story, where the index is located, click on Edit, simply copy everything from the previous chapter, paste it again (in this case, twice), and replace the link and the title.

@Vela Nanashi A technical question -- are icb blocks mentioned by you in this post compatible with any other formatting, like italicizing the word to be explained for example?

Re: How-To Questions
all formatting will work inside icb I think, but it has its own default format that I happen to like for the story I made that version of the bbcode for
as for if italics for the heading word hmm... probably not but not sure.
No italics seem to own the icb block entirely destroying its functionality or failing to make italics, so if you have a specific format you would like for a version of it for your own use let me know and I can make one, icb is also not super ideal in how it expands its content as it becomes a block when open while being inline before that, maybe what would be better is inline when closed and open, and I may try to make that happen a bit later

Re: How-To Questions
Yep, formatting works within the block -- that's good. It's just that I want to use icb for a few Latin and Greek (rendered in Latin alphabet) words, but we'll just pretend they're italicized!

Re: How-To Questions
I could make a new tag for you if you want, but I mean it already has a slight button look to it, so should stick out
