This is Claire

Post by Claire »

Funny enough, I never created a thread like this on any other site and now I am doing this for the first time on my own forum. I guess that's as good a time as any to lose your introduction thread virginity. ;)

I am the one who decided to start this forum after the long lasting RavishU forum finally went down. I was a moderator there in its final days hoping to make some changes to the place. Now I am trying to implement the ideas I had for RavishU (and more) here. I hope to build a community here that does not only consume rape fantasies, but discusses and talks about them. I want to be able to share my stories with others and I hope to have real conversations about them that go beyond "I liked it." I want to be able to ask my readers questions about what they think about certain aspects of a story and get a bunch of answers from different people within a few days. That is what the Ravishment Academy is for.

I chose the name Claire when I first entered the rape fantasy community because I needed a name for my account and Claire was the name of the protagonist of Record Chaser, the first story I ever started to write that I hope to bring to a conclusion here. Not very creative, I know. I am mostly interested in reading and writing stories, but @Vela Nanashi encourages me to give role playing a chance too. :) We'll see about that.

And when it comes to the question what the appeal of rape fantasy is to me... It's neither imagining myself as the victim nor indulging in the power fantasy of being the rapist which I assume to be the two main reasons why people enjoy rape fantasies. I like to read stories that feel real to me, that make me feel deeply for the victim. When a story makes me think "That poor girl, this is so fucked up..." but at the same time I can't help but think "But it is kind of hot...", then I end up "enjoying" it the most. Enduring that tension between "Reading this feels wrong" and "I can't stop reading" is what draws me to rape fantasy. And that tension is what I try to induce in others as an author. So if you ever find yourself reading one of my stories and afterwards that meme "Not my proudest fap..." goes through your mind, I have achieved my goal and it would be the biggest compliment for me if you let me know. ;)

Always good to get rid of virginities. I do feel with you when it comes to those introductory posts, I don’t do them because I suck at them, people can form their own opinions based on my stories.

Thank you again for giving us a new home, to share and express our thoughts and fantasies.
My collected stories can be found here Shocking, positively shocking

I feel I owe you a debt of gratitude for your previous work on RU (and most definitely your current efforts here). I never think I did anything on RU besides reading stories, which in a way makes me an “accomplice” to its downfall. When reading your post that the academy was heading for closure I decided to stop lurking in the shadows and join. If nothing else, just to not repeat my previous inaction and hopefully do my small part in preserving this page. Anyway, the subject is “This is Claire” and not “This is Peter” so once again. Thanks :)

Oh, before I go. You reached your goal so consider yourself complimented ;)

I hope this doesn't sound too weird, but when I read your post here, that actually made me cry a little. I've put a lot of time and effort into this forum. And while many people have thanked me since the forum launched, only very few have actually shown that gratitude by either participating in the forum or, more personally, reading and commenting on a story I wrote. And I'm not gonna lie, over the last two weeks or so, that gnawed a little at me. So, reading your message and hearing you say that all this effort did not go unnoticed means a lot, really. Thank you, Peter, seriously. You made my day.

Come on, you can't leave a girl hanging like this. Now you got to tell me which story that was!

Not really sure how to respond to your answer. Saying “you’re welcome” seems plainly wrong and weird on my part. I didn’t write what I wrote thinking you would reply to it nor did I anticipate the response I got. I just wanted to show my appreciation for the work you put in and credit the driving force behind the academy’s birth and positive development.

Haha. It wasn’t my intention to leave “a girl hanging”. The story that popped up when I read about the fap meme was “Men at war”. A story I would like to see a continuation of. I know what you wrote in response to my earlier comment/question so I will not press the subject any further. Just consider it as a sneaky way of trying to change your mind ;)

Sorrry if that was a classic case of too much information. :/ I was just a bit overwhelmed.

Ok, that is not the story I expected to have that effect. Record Chaser, You or It's Okay, I feel a little lonely, too I would have expected but Men at War? Wow. Anyway, I won't rule out a prequel or a sequel, but I would need to have a real good idea for it. Currently, I'm thinking more about writing the male perspective for Venus' Touch, but I know that the demand for that is low.

Don’t excuse yourself. I was just taken aback a little and as i wrote, I didn’t expect a response and definitely not something like that. I just wanted to say thank you in some way but I’m glad you had a positive feeling reading it and that it made your day a little brighter. So in conclusion, I’m happy you’re happy and so you know. The heartwarming response also impacted me in a positive way and made my day a little brighter.

I think I liked the story so much because of two reasons. First of all the craziness of it combined with excellent writing. Secondly because of what I thought I was going to get when I saw the comedy tag. I thought it was going to be more of a “people falling on their ass” kind of story but I soon realized that the comedy laid in its exaggerated tone. It was kind of new to me and got me intrigued.
The other stories you listed. Some of them is on my list for future reading but haven’t had the time yet.

I never posted here for some mysterious reason, I love what you do Claire, and we already talk a lot, and this thread does love to notify me about your mention, every few weeks/days, so maybe now that I post here it will shush about that lol :)
