Thx for reaching out to him. And I'd be fine with moving the deadline. If there are no objections from the other contestants, we can do that. I would then also move the deadline for the voting period by one day.

Thanks. I am late to the party. Very late. The extension would help me greatly.

Since I didn't hear any complaints from the other contestants, I will edit the first post and move bothe the writing and voting window back one day.
Another question for you guys: How big would the interest be in a match for third place between the losers of the semi-finals? I get that after losing not everyone is looking forward to competing in one more match.

I am still confused about things lol. Where do we post the story? How do you post with the name given us? Is the title a guide, or does it have to include that title. Lots of questions, sorry

I have yet to see a story in this contest, and have no idea where to post it. Anyone know?

Claire wrote: Fri Apr 25, 2025 4:18 pm Since the issue of anonymity came up twice now in Private Messages that were sent to me, here is how you as a contestant will stay anonymous with your entry:
You create a thread in the Ravished in a Flash Tournament board. Only contestants have access to that board, so nobody who is not a contestant will see anything that's going on in there. And only you will be able to see your own thread in that board. So the other contestants won't know your story until voting begins. When the voting period begins, I will change "ownership" over your thread to an account that uses your pen name and move the thread to the Public Stories board. Once the tournament is over, ownership will be returned to your normal account and you will get all the reputation points your story has collected under your pen name.
I'm sorry if I didn't explain that very well earlier. But the bottom line is: If you create a thread in the Ravished in a Flash Tournament board, your anonymity should be guaranteed.
If you have other contestants following your account, they might get a notification when you create a new thread that reveals the title of your story. In that case, you can avoid giving away your identity by naming the thread some nonsense when first creating it and then edit the title later on.
