Used and Abused - Quarter Final

The Used and Abused Quarter Final has officially begun. Our contestants now have two weeks to write their story for their match. In the Quarter Final we have the following 4 matches to look forward to:

Match QF-1: @Gross Indecency VS. @Foot Lover

Match QF-2: @Your Mum VS. @Alien Drunk

• Theme: Afternoon Delight

Match QF-3: @Perverted Mimic VS. @Traumatized Teddy

• Theme: First Come, First Served

Match QF-4: @The Purgatory Knight VS. @Werewolf

• Theme: Hole In One

Let the writing begin! For our dear contestants: There will again be a timer in the Used and Abused Tournament - Publishing board telling you how much time is left. The procedure is the same as last time: Post your story there over the next two weeks and I will then move them all at once to the public tournament board.

I don't know that song either, but I have no intention of incorporating it either. The words afternoon delight will have to suffice as a theme.

I kinda like the Decade of Nightmares (1975-1986), even to the point of setting my Round of 16 story in 1977, but yeah, another nightmare.

Just to be clear, the song Afternoon Delight is just what inspired the theme. The song itself doesn't have to be used in any way. It's just a well known classic with a lot of innuendo in its lyrics that is well suited to be referenced in a story.

Voting has begun. We have 5 stories this time. I have officially withdrawn from the tournament but @The Purgatory Knight and @Alien Drunk have not posted a story. As it currently stands, @Your Mum, @Traumatized Teddy and @Werewolf would automatically advance to the next round. The only genuine match we have is QF-1.

I have a proposal for the semi finals. Let’s just use one story prompt, that way in case of a recurrence we cab recombine entries.

Our one actual matchup was won by @Foot Lover, eliminating @Gross Indecency in the process. Congratulations to @Foot Lover! And a big thanks to @Gross Indecency for participating up to this point.

Also, @Traumatized Teddy, @Your Mum and @Werewolf advance to the next round due to a lack of competition in their matches.

I will also implement @Shocker's suggestion to choose the same prompt for all stories in the semi-final. The two stories with the highest rating will then advance to the final with a new prompt. In case of equal ratings, the higher number of 3 ratings will decide who advances to the next round and if that is equal the number of 2 point ratings will decide.

Contestants will have two weeks again to write their stories for the semi-final. I will again create a timer in the Publishing board for the contest stories that contestants can look up to see how much time is left.

The theme for the semi-final is: Old habits die hard

I will announce this again in a later thread for the semi-final tomorrow.
