Ah, a man of culture, noticing those references! Well, I'm a mimic after all, a twisted one in they eyes of my kind maybe, but a mimic nevertheless. Evoking the spirits of the classics is just second nature to me!

Hmm, yes, yes! I like to have fun with girls with multiple personalities! You ravage the first one, and then you'll have her experience the second treatment as if it's the first time again!

And here I have just read a Star Trek parody and now I'm reading a story with two main characters who would have been the target audience for that it seems.

Interpreting the "hard as lightning, soft as candlelight" theme as two sides of a split personality is a cool idea. I think that worked really nice overall. I like how much time the story spends on establishing the characters, but the ending feels rushed on the other hand. Could have probably been better with 6000 or 7000 words. :/

I really enjoyed the dialogue in this. The writing had an easy-flowing style to it, I hope that makes sense. The twist took me by surprise but I was kinda expecting something was gonna happen. Overall, a top-notch entry, and like @Claire said, might have benefited from being just a little longer.

I simply have to know, what inspired the names, Henry Banner seems obvious as the amalgamation of Henry Jeckyl and Bruce Banner. Which means you had likely fun with Danica Carew as well, but I don’t get that one. With the name Danica my mind immediately goes to Danica McKellar but Carew I got nothing for.

@Shocker An observant human! Well, I assume you're human, but with that name, who truly knows... You might be an elemental creature that should not be touched.

You're spot on, Henry Banner is of course named after Henry Jekyll and Bruce Banner. Danica Carew is named after Jekyll's victim Sir Danvers Carew. I couldn't give our leading lady a man's name but I thought Danica felt similar enough.

@Vile8r An enjoyer of twists, very good. And yes, I ran hard into the word and time limit this @Claire person imposed on us! Look at her! First the little dictator gives us time and word limits and then she has the audacity to complain if the story feels too short!

This story, the best reinterpretation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a sexual day trip, into the land of wanton indulgence (In my opinion) Very well written with a wonderful pace.
