Thank you very much for your reply. I am always amazed by how precisely you plan your stories, how much thought you put into them — and now also by how intensively you research for them.

I find your explanations about writing from a different gender's point of view very fascinating. And you're right, I would actually be afraid that if I were to write such intense scenes as you do, from a female perspective, I might end up falling into shallow stereotypes.

Writing from the perspective of the opposite sex is definitely worth discussing.

From what I've seen, it's mostly men who write from a woman's perspective. Women who write from a man's point of view are much rarer. @Claire is a commendable exception.

But regardless of who writes from which perspective, two stereotypes stand out to me:

Men/women who describe the opposite sex purely based on "typical" character traits. That is, traits you find in films, novels, or even stories here in the forum. These are usually stories that read quite well because you know the characters, but they often have little to do with reality. With these "writers," Mark would probably have had no trouble breaking his record. Because he's a "real man" who can "come" anytime, anywhere, and as often as he wants.

And then there are women/men who strive to describe the roles they play as realistically as possible. Just like @Claire described in her last chapter. I could really empathize with Mark during the last rape, how desperately he tried to break his record, no matter the cost. And we were able to read about the outcome.

I also occasionally write from the perspective of the opposite sex, that is, from a woman's perspective. How do I try to make it as realistic as possible?

Well, first of all: I have never actually raped a woman in my life. But I have played numerous rape role-playing games with different women. Some were rather harmless bondage games, but I also knew a woman with whom I tried to reenact rape scenes as realistically as possible, where anything was allowed. The only thing that wasn't allowed was visible marks or real injuries. And after these games, we both did intensive debriefing sessions. We talked about what we liked, what we didn't like, and what was completely unacceptable. From these conversations, I learned a lot about a woman's feelings during rape, even if it was just "playing."

The same applies, of course, to normal sex. Therefore, in stories where I take on the role of a woman, I try to stay as close to reality as possible.

So, once again, a huge compliment to @Claire, who portrays both characters so well in this story!

Part 9:

What a uselessly pointless situation, and stupid too, to keep at it when it stops feeling good, what is the point? He probably should have gotten some good lube for this too, and I don't know a some good vibrator if he wanted to try to force her to get more aroused, even so a vibrator can be numbing.

Yeah Claire is not really caring anymore, and can probably tell he is not even enjoying himself anymore either, it most likely hurts him more than her at this point too, as men seem to eventually get really tender and non functional. I do recall a porn movie with one man and a lot of women, and sure he seemed to like the shoot in the beginning but toward the end it started to look more painful than pleasurable, and at least that guy in the porno had the benefit of the male animal being with new female that seems to allow getting erect and interested again sooner than with same female, while all he has is her again and both his cock and brain would go "you already did it with her, and even if you were not snipped you would not impregnate her more by doing it a 13th time. Stop being stupid man."

Yeah I don't imagine it is very fun to have sex with a 'dead fish' as some men call some women who just lay there.

Good to see she is still in there though I was a bit worried.

Good dialogue and Claire being able to defeat him on the intellectual plane, on some level, not perhaps wise, but it is something I guess, and pity yeah... Good chapter, as in well written, I don't like what is going on in in it though. Hope to read your next chapters too though. One thing I like though is that this feels rather realistic for most men, I think, and I do enjoy the interactions, and that Claire still has her fighting spirit and in the end there can see herself as less broken than him, even despite all his effort in trying to break her.

Also him punishing himself that much, clearly not sane, very masochistic (I think).

Many good comments here from the rest of you, making me feel like my own comment is rather lacking this time at least.

@Blue I remember you writing The third in the league for the Gang Rape Galore contest from the perspective of a trans woman. Writing a trans POV character is probably even more rare, so kudos to you for not letting that stop you.

If somebody wans to read another male POV story written by a woman, check out "Uncle" Nick by @chloevee. In case the name turns you off because you don't care for incest: It's not an incest story, so don't let that stop you. It's just a somewhat unfortunately chosen name for the story that might trigger wrong associations.

And a great example for a female lead character written by a male author is @RapeU's The CUNT Rapist. It's even written in first person and I think it's his best story on the forum. It might seem very long at first glance when you see the sheer number of chapters the story has. But most chapters are fairly short, much shorter than your average Record Chaser chapter. So don't let that stop you, you can easily read 5 chapters or more in half an hour.

That's the power of obsession, I guess...
Vela Nanashi wrote: Sun Nov 16, 2025 8:46 pm Yeah Claire is not really caring anymore
I think I wouldn't go that far... She's just numb and emotionally and physically drained.
Vela Nanashi wrote: Sun Nov 16, 2025 8:46 pm Good to see she is still in there though I was a bit worried.
I sometimes hate myself a little for what I'm doing to some of my characters. So I get what you feel. But this chapter is her victory on a psychological level. I would never write a story where the small captured woman suddenly physically overwhelms her captor. But that is also not what the story is about.
Vela Nanashi wrote: Sun Nov 16, 2025 8:46 pm Hope to read your next chapters too though. One thing I like though is that this feels rather realistic for most men, I think
To a degree, I get wanting to write a sexual fantasy where things are possible that you'd never see in real life. Have men come over and over again in quick succession, have women explode with orgasms against their will by even the slightest touch. But especially when it comes to depicting rape, then these tropes tend to diminish the seriousness of the act for me.
Vela Nanashi wrote: Sun Nov 16, 2025 8:46 pm Also him punishing himself that much, clearly not sane
It's a good question whether he's actually insane. I would say, not in the sense where you are no longer accountable for your actions. He's not hearing voices or has a distorted perception of reality that compels him to do things he'd never do if he was able to think clearly. He knows what he's doing and he knows what he's causing and he's deciding to do it anyway. I think it's important to emphasize that he's accountable for his actions.

Yeah I did not mean insane as unaccountable, for me those do not go together most of the time. You should not get awsy with say a crime just because you are not seeing or understanding reality, in fact you probably should be permanently put awsy for safety of others, if your breaks with reality causes real injury or hurt others, yourself is fine, but not others. I am not sure if I am communicating this way I see things clearly here though, it has some nuances that escapes my ability to put it into words at the moment.

I've read the first page. Four chapters and some commentary, but I'm not waiting to give this a full 3 rating. The nervous dialogue, sometimes veering close to banter mixed with an earnest discussion of ethics and confession of despair. Head hopping aside, this really works.

Whew, nine pages to go! But with nine chapters and four of them done, I think they won't take as long. I'll join you all at the finish line.

Interesting chapter to stop reading. I think you might be fond of cliffhangers! If I had to take a guess, you probably liked chapter 3 the most so far.

And don't worry, there are several pages in here that have no new chapter at all, just discussion. So they should be much faster to read.

Re: Record Chaser - New Chapter!

There are so many stories that focus on sex, sex, and more sex. It's not as common for stories to focus on what happens after the rape. We need more stories like this, that offer a realistic snapshot of rape and the aftermath of it.

Btw, I enjoyed the math references in this last chapter. One of the newer Futurama episodes on Hulu had a lot of jokes based on high level math. I didn't understand all of them, but most of them I did and I chuckled at a few (my wife didn't understand most of them.) The injection of a small bit of humor with a serious situation was just a nice detail to add depth to the story.

And, you've left open a possibility for a sequel. Mark clearly suffers from an addiction. He's going to dwell on the record for a long time and want to eventually try to break it again. He won't be able to help himself.
