@TromboneDalek I don't have plans to continue this story. It was just a uick scenario I thought up for a contest here.

Sounds like a fun teacher. :)

Can I ask you for a small favor? I think you read and left kudos for my story Men at War on AO3. Could you give it a rating here too? Rating stories helps the forum a lot.

Reading this gave me a few ideas of you could continue the stories of Claire and Eleanor in divergent limit/and the record chaser universe
I strongly feel that your way writing non-con is the best of any writer because of the way you are able to balance and merge the psychological and physical description of the assaults ,and I would love to see more of it especially in the RCU (record chaser universe)

Maybe you could loop back the gimmick of dr jekyll and Mr Hyde to Mark's story after claire where he submits more and more to his sadistic tendencies and then reintroduce him to the series
I have many ideas regarding divergent limit including the question of what if one of the victims (Eleanor) fails to recover (maybe by being revictimized) this time by a far more odious and abusive Mark hellbent on preserving his memory by savaging the psychological mindspace of a victim

I would also love to see flash backs to the parts of record chaser we didn't get to see similar to the" how many creampies..." Call back in chapter 10 of record chaser that way you can still convey the lingering trauma, other ways to do so would be how Phantom pain and other realistic trauma reactions and triggers SA victims suffer from

@Labaal That's a bit off topic here, but Divergent Limit will not include any noncon scenes. Consensual scenes will of course be affected by what happened in Record Chaser and Late Satisfaction. But Divergent Limit is a story about healing and (re)discovering your sexuality after trauma.

I wrote two novellas dealing extensively with rape and another dozen or so short to medium length stories. With Divergent Limit I now want to explore a new psychological facet: recovery.

That being said, if you enjoy a more psychological angle to noncon stories, give @chloevee's stories a look. Sadly, she seems to have left the community, but the few stories she did leave us count among the best of what the site has to offer. Her stories are criminally underrated. :) Uncle Nick is a great one.

This is exactly what I want. I want previous non con being an ever persisting phantom for the two characters through their recovery. Almost like a thriller aspect in an otherwise comfy story

In regards to what I said about Mark,I might've overshot and I should've specified that you could touch upon it in a later series.(If that's even in the books ) idk what to say It's surprising but I'm as invested in this as any classical piece of literature

Bravo Claire!!

@Claire
This one flew under my radar until it resurfaced a few days ago. Considering the shorter length I deemed it a good bedtime story yesterday.
Was not disappointed.

I have never read the "Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" but I knew the title.
Curiously I did immediately think of Bruce Banner when reading that last name, but not making the connection Banner/Hulk --> Jekyll/Hide.

I enjoyed the nerdy pieces that where strewn throughout.

This one did indeed tug a bit at the heartstrings. Obviously a rape was to be expected, but I find it always a bit sad if someone just wants to have a good time and it goes to shit by no fault of their own.
This was a cute couple, and the consensual part of the story alone could cary itself no problem.
In the non-con segment I did appreciate the anal part.

Can they rebound from this?
Unlikely, but perhaps. At least she has seen that it was not "him".

Also: Concratulations on your next popular story.
Seemingly I was the one who brought it up to the treshold but didn't realise it.
Thanks @Lucius for doing the announcement

@AdmiralPiet Don't worry, I think it was actually @Lucius who couldn't resist giving the story its 30th point. ;)

So the names are chosen as hommages. Henry Banner is an amalgamation of Henry Jekyll and Bruce Banner. The name Danica Carew is inspired by Sir Danvers Carew, a man that gets murdered by Hyde. Danica was just a female name I thought sounded vaguely similar to Danvers.

I enjoyed writing the nerdy banter in the middle too. :) I might have gone a little overboard as I almost ran out of words at the end there. That's the reason for the somewhat abrupt ending.

Ah. So the system doesn't update the time when someone edits and earlierrating?
I was sure I stayed below, but then it was at the threshold, and my rating is the last in the list.

I did get that... just later. If it is not a very big thread I also read replies from other people. So I knew the hommage part.
Just found it curious that my brain got that the title was refering to Jekyll and Hyde, and was thinking of Bruce Banner, but did not make the connection that both men have something similar going on.
Carew also sounded familiar, I just could not place it. I think I read summarys of the book when I saw scenes from "The League of extraordinary Gentlemen" to understand what Jekyll and Hyde are.

When copying the text and seeing the red line "My turn!" I was also thinking of Venom.

Didn't see it like that.
I thought it was a good ending, or rther a good point in the story to leave open ended.
