Your roles in fantasies

Post by Songbird »

As questions go, this is perhaps the most basic of the basics, but...

Where exactly do you like to imagine yourself in rape fantasies? As the victim? The perpetrator? Does it vary?

I don't think that options on a poll alone can cover the intricate ins and outs of the subject for some people, but this is a place for talking about it, if you'd like to share.

I selected neither as I often take more of an outside voyeur view of the action that's happening. I do like describing characters, particularly female characters. But one thing I've learned from talking to women interested in these types of kinks is many like to envision themselves in the role of the damsel, and giving too much description can often take them out of the fantasy. I keep that in mind when writing characters.

Voted neither as I don't really like noncon on its own, it is not what draws me to a story. It has to do at least one other thing for me to be worth it. I prefer to be inside one character and generally not in the rapist, I do not enjoy being a victim though, but it feels very slightly more compatible at least. All that said I do write noncon elements in some of my stories, but it is usually not my focus.

Yet another vote for neither -- I like to think of myself as a writer! Within the story I'm omniscient... mostly, I'd like to do a good first person victim. Reading the stories of others, I'm always an onlooker.

I'm also joining the neither club. Not just for our stories here but in general I would say that I rarely identify myself with fictional characters. Only a handful examples would come to mind for me like Celine from the movie Before Sunset. What I like about rape fantasy stories is when enjoying them feels wrong because I find what's happening hot and fucked up at the same time. I can feel tremendously for the victim and her suffering and find that arousing at the same time. And enduring that contradiction is what makes this so attractive for me and what fuels the hotness of the scene even further. But that doesnn't mean that I feel like I am either the victim or the rapist, I just feel for her.

Basically, my thesis is: If you haven't cried hard out of empathy for the victim while masturbating to what's happening to her, then you're not reading it right..

The question was meant to relate to your own fantasies, not stories. Did I word this badly?

I think I just don't separate these two things so strictly. So you are only interested in scenarios in which I imagine myself having sex? If we're limiting it to that than I simply don't imagine this to be a rape at all.

Victim!!

- In my mind I am the stripper at the bachelor party in the movie 'Lakeview Terrace'.
After I drive the hot police officers insane with lust, dancing for them, I get forcibly taken upstairs..........
In my imagination, my rapists are usually authority figures or otherwise powerful men; governors, police officers, etc.
