The Basics
Let's start with the two most obvious things:
- Comment on stories
- Rate stories
Regarding the second point: We recently made a change that makes rating a story easier than ever. You will now see the button to rate a story at the end of each post by the author of the story. The green number in front of the purple background is the story's overall rating. The green number in front of the violet background is an individual chapter's or a feedback comment's rating. You can rate a story or post with 1, 2 or 3 points and you can upgrade your rating at any time if a later chapter has improved your overall impression of the story. If you like what you read, please rate it. Also, reward comments you found helpful or interesting with a rating. It is literally just the clicking of a like button, the most common thing in the world in 2025. Also, only moderators and the author of the post can see that you rated it, so your likes are anonymous to the vast majority of users.
Word of Mouth
In terms of new users registering everyday, the forum has been doing well in May with 3.5 new users each day so far. But if you know people that might be interested in a forum like ours, invite them. And if you are part of a community that might be interested in the Academy (for example on Reddit, Discord, or some other forum), consider posting a link to us if this is allowed there. That would help us in two ways: 1) People might click on that link and find us, obviously. 2) Search engines see that other websites link to us and that makes it more likely that they will show the forum as part of the search results. Links from other websites that lead here tell Google and others that this forum is relevant.
As an Author
As an author you can do two things to help the forum besides posting your own stories and participating in the community.
- Make use of the Topic Preview feature for your stories and post the preview at the beginning of your post.
- Create a story collection thread for your stories that includes your name in the title.
Second, if you have published multiple stories here, consider creating a story collection thread that has your name in its title. Currently, a few people find their way here each day because they search for @Vile8r or @HistBuff directly via Google. Both of them are not only household names of the rape fantasy community, their names are also very unique which makes them ideal for a Google search. @Vile8r's story collection thread is particularly popular. If, for example, @HistBuff had a story collection thread named Histbuff's Historical Archive of Depravity here, then I am sure this thread would attract quite a few users looking for him on Google. And the same could in principle be true for every author, especially for those with unique searchable names. Creating a story collection thread like this does therefore not only help your readers here find your stories. It also helps readers from outside the forum find this place in the first place.
