After I saw @LaLia base her story Wrong Choices on a game she played, I wondered what else the community might be playing.
Dr. Pink Cake's Being a DIK is a very popular adult game that draws you in the with the promise of spicy scenes but makes you stay with the well crafted story and fleshed out characters. It puts you in the shoes of a young man (his name is for you to choose) just starting college and the chaos he gets absorbed into after joining the DIK fraternity at the Burgmeister and Royce University. I really like this game. Season 11 has recently been released and I still have to do a few replays of that to see all the branching story lines.
Has anybody else played this? Do you want to debate with me which is the best route in the game? Or maybe you have another recommendation for a game?
When it comes to non-adult games, I still need to play Clair Obscure Expedition 33. I swear, it's not because of the name!

Re: Anyone here playing Dr. Pink Cake's Being a DIK?
I just took a quick look at the game in the forum where I download games. It looks good graphically, but softcore/completely con, right?
Personally, I prefer slightly harder games with the tags rape, corruption, horror, etc., and preferably from the perspective of a female protagonist.
The one from my story, "Jessica's Choices - Origins," isn't that complex and you can finish it quickly. What I liked, which is a bit more extensive and not too soft, would definitely be "Bright Past," one of my favorites. A truly challenging game is "The Falling Order - Zombie Outbreak," which is a Resident Evil parody. You have to solve puzzles and get raped by zombies every now and then. Other games with quite violent content that come to mind are "Raptus" and "Panic Attack." Panic Attack, in particular, is pretty extreme.

@LaLia Softcore I don't know. From what I understand, softcore pornography for example implies not depicting penetration. That defnitely happens in that game. But it does not have noncon scenes or very violent scenes. It has some darker elements to its story, prostitution and drug dealing and the problems that come with that, but at its core it's a coming of age story that focuses on comedic and dramatic moments that gives you as the player a lot of choice.

I think the last rape-themed game I played was Incubus City. Unfortunately the death of flash kind of killed the genre since now devs are reliant on like three commercial sites which back down at controversy.
DIDnapper was also decent if you like the concept of abducting unwilling women (no explicit sex or anything). Wasn’t a huge fan of the sequel though, it’s a much more generic RPG story that just happens to have bondage for unexplained reasons.

Sometimes the sex in games is so weird. I remember reading the Fate/Stay Night visual novel for the first time after watching one of its anime adaptations and I got blindsided by the hentai scenes in it. I was so perplexed that I just wondered: Who writes 10 to 15 hours of story and then suddenly drops some hardcore porn on its readers? Just imagine this in a TV show like Breaking Bad. You got the show as you know it and then suddenly, in the middle of season 2, you get some super cheesy hardcore porn with Walter White.modela2 wrote: Sat May 17, 2025 9:16 am it’s a much more generic RPG story that just happens to have bondage for unexplained reasons.

Yeah lol. I remember playing a Fire Emblem game, of all games, and if you shacked up your player character with someone there was this weird cutscene where you could use the DS touch screen to rub their face sexually. Odd stuff.
Regarding DIDnapper the first game justified the tie-up-women mechanic by casting you as a slaver. The second just didn't bother to give an explanation. They're explicitly fetish games, but like why am I taking the extra effort to tie these ladies up and stuff them in barrels if I'm the good guy here.
