So, here's my dilemma...
I've written a metric buttload of stories over the last 5 or so years. I've done several series and a bunch of one-offs. I added it up a few months ago, and I'm well over a million words written in that time. But my problem is I don't know what I want to begin posting first. So I'm asking for some suggestions and maybe a little help. Below are the stories and series I want to post, along with any delays.
The Club of Chester County. This series starts with Sam getting inducted into a club of rapists as they offer up women they know as victims for others to have as they will.
Detective George Lewis and Bob. Connected with Chester County is their boogeyman, a senior detective tracking them down though he doesn't know it yet. There are several stories about Bob and his exploits over the years, along with how the two don't get along.
Pharma. What happens when obsession goes too far? Follow along as Tommy's need to be with one woman forces him down the path of good intentions straight to hell. This also takes place in the Chester County universe.
Purity. An older man lusts after his best friend's daughter. One day he meets a woman who tells her that he could be the young woman's first, if he's willing to go the extra mile. Will he?
The Mindwalker Memoirs. This story explores one of the few telepaths in the world as he trains a new mentee and has fun along the way.
The Rape and Brutalization of Diana. This is a classic that isn't mine, but I wrote 8 chapters to wrap up the story. Long term plans had me revisiting the characters years later.
One-offs and fun prompts. I've lost count of how many stories I have lying around.
Chronologically the first story is Bob's tales, followed by R&B of Diana then the rest of the Club series then Pharma. Mindwalker is more standalone. The first ones I wrote were the Detective Lewis and early Club stories.
Let me know what you'd like to see first. And when it comes to stories like Pharma with dozens of chapters, I would try to spread out the postings to make them easier to digest. Last I checked it was 89 chapters long.
Thanks,
Brocc

Some of those stories will need adjusting to fit within the rules. Of them the one that is most interesting to me is your mindwalker series, that I read parts of, but I am not really the target audience for most of this so hopefully others chime in.

In very general terms I feel like throwing down a few 'stand alones' first might be a good idea - So that people can learn your style and if it's compatible with their tastes in reading. I think once you have people who know and enjoy your writing style, you'll have set up those people to be interested in investing in the 'bigger commitment' of reading longer stories.
Of course, other's might disagree, it was just the thought that popped into mind.

I might be the odd one here, having read a good bit of your stories k I think I only missed out on rape and brutalization of Diana and the Bob story. Your Chester County stories are so good I will read the whole epic again if you publish it here. Especially as I want to know the conclusion of Pharma, you were getting ready to drop the hammer there.
And you know how much I love the mindwalker stories.
Looking back at my babbling here, this doesn’t help you at all as I would love to see all of it again. Perhaps start with 2 streams on beginning at your oldest work, the other at the chronological start of Chester County. If you publish a chapter a week Chester County might be done by the end of next year. You will have an avid reader in me.

Re: Need help finding a starting point
So, I would probably start with some longer story and post the opening chapter. Give people some time to react, then post something short and self-contained a day or two later. Then update your long story maybe 1, 2 or 3 times a week and occasionally post something short in between. That is how I would go about it. I generally try to avoid overwhelming readers with too much new content at once. When for example @John_F_Drake posts three fairly long chapters at once, I wish he had spread this out a little more over several days. That is at least how I feel as a reader.
My stories: Claire's Cesspool of Sin. I'm always happy to receive a comment on my stories, even more so on an older one!

Thanks. I think I'll start with a little round-robin of sorts starting later this week/when I get some time. I'll post a piece or two from each except Purity. I'm still writing the unedited version for a friend and once I get my next section done I'll modify it to fit the site's rules. I have a version of Bob's story ready to go that fits and expands on the lore a little bit. Plus, things that happen off-camera are just that, off camera.

@Claire Fair!
I feel like I'm starting behind the 8 ball, showing up late to a party and trying to share stuff! In this case, I have a publishing schedule I try to keep of a new chapter every friday, but that meant that for some stories I felt I had to post old chapters to catch up.
Hopefully won't be an issue in the future!

Re: Need help finding a starting point
So I've started with a Club story and Mindwalker Memoirs. Mindwalker is only 8 chapters or so, so I'll have a spot open in the posting rotation starting next week. Here's the following choices:
Detective George Lewis's original story
Bob's origin story, redux. This version has been 'aged up' to meet posting standards.
Some non HCU one-offs.
Whichever one I start with, the next will follow up. By that point we'll be pretty close to wrapping up the first Club story and ready for the next couple tales. By that point comes along, I'll be looking to start Pharma.
Does anyone have any preference on the order of the first three?

Re: Need help finding a starting point
If it was up to me I would go for the detective story.
Quick question, will pharma be to chapter 89 or will it continue to the conclusion?
Speaking of pharma. Am I the only one who shifted focus from the sex to the story in general? I found myself being genuinely interested in how it would all turn out. That being said I should maybe point out that I mean that as something positive.

I have long ago shifted to accept the sex as the price to read the thrilling tale.peterfrisk wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 11:18 pm If it was up to me I would go for the detective story.
