“What if?”
For December’s Season Pass, and the 2026 Season Pass Finale, your story must involve an urban legend and a holiday. Any holiday and any legend will work for the contest. You can even make one up!
Holiday Urban Legends Contest
Theme: Ice/Snow
Language: English
Length: Medium (5,000 to 15,000 words)
Required Tags: Eng, Finished, Medium, Con/Noncon, Legends (the tag will be available when the contest starts)
Deadline: December 15, 00:00 CEST
Voting Window: One week.
Rewards
The winner will receive a special title of their choice (unless they are part of the moderation team).
The top story will be pinned for a week to the public stories forum.
Authors of the top 5 stories will receive the relevant season pass score: 1 - 50, 2 - 30, 3 - 20, 4 - 10, 5 - 10
25 reputation points for the winner, 10 for the runner-up.
If you want to enter your story, please post it in the public stories board and reply to this thread with a link to your story. Also, the subject line of your story should reference the contest in the following way:
Title of your story - Holiday Urban Legends Contest
You may remove that reference once the contest is over. Also, please include a link to the contest thread before the beginning of your story and tell your readers that the story participates in the contest. You do not have to wait until December to post your story, but the story must be posted before the deadline in order to count. A reminder countdown timer will be announced starting one week before the deadline.
