Valentine's Day, when roses have thorns!

The Dining Hall is the perfect place to take a break from your studies. Meet your fellow students or colleagues to chat about anything else the world has to offer. For the most part, any interest you want to share is fair game—just steer clear of contemporary politics.

Valentine's Day, when roses have thorns!

Post by SoftGameHunter »

First up, some full disclosure. As a man, I don't give much thought to Valentine's day. But as a married man, my wife slave reminded me that I love it and we're doing stuff. So, there goes my dom reputation. :bawl: Still, I'll bet I could coax her into some cuffs later. At least we're checking out a new restaurant we haven't been to before, so that's a plus.

What is a holiday of love to the kink and ravishment crowd? Probably much the same as for anyone else, but maybe there are some special traditions that don't get made into bad movies on the Hallmark channel? Some past actions of spontaneity that worked out for the best?

I don’t care for valentine’s day at all. If I cannot show my appreciation of my wife 365 days a year, then that one day really doesn’t matter.
My collected stories can be found here Shocking, positively shocking

We're not big into Valentine's Day over here. At most I might get flowers for her and the kids and send a meme or two. I still contend that this holiday was a conspiracy between Hallmark, Hershey, and DeBeers to move leftover stock after Christmas.
