I think the closest thing to a straight horror story I've written is:

The Strange Case of Henry Banner and Danica Carew

But for Divergent Limit, I'm not trying to write horror in the sense that I want the reader to feel scared themselves. Take the end of chapter 5 when Claire remembers the things Mark told her. She is clearly scared, but my focus when writing that moment was more on making the reader understand why Claire is scared and less on making the reader feel scared.

Oh yeah I should've specified I did mean the characters being jumpscared not the readers themselves @Claire
