In the 15th century Scotish king James I stayd in a a Dominican chapter house in Perth, when a group of men lead by Sir Robert Graham came to assasinate him. They searched every room for the king. The chamberlain before this removed the bolt of the king's door. So one of the queen's ladies in waiting Catherine Douglas used her own arm as a bolt. Sir Robert Graham and his man still meneged to break the door down, breaking Catherine's arm in the process, then they killed the king.
