Here I am already pinning threads to the top of the board and then you come in with the perfectly timed last minute entry. Nice finish! That gets us to 12!
My stories: Claire's Cesspool of Sin. I'm always happy to receive a comment on my stories, even more so on an older one!

Voting has officially begun! First, a big thank you to all of our contestants: @Vela Nanashi. @Blue, @Writers_Bloque, @AdmiralPiet, @RapeU, @LtBroccoli, @LaLia, @KittyUmbrass, @Shocker, @Lucius, @ren6, @chloevee

You guys rock! <3

Then, a special thanks to @Shocker. Following his suggestion to add a vote for every 5 entries, you now have three votes at your disposal. But note: You don't have to use all three. If you have one clear favorite, you can also cast only one vote. Or maybe two out of three ain't bad? ... I'll see myself out.

On a more serious note: Voting is set for 7 days. But when I initially planned that more than two weeks ago, I expected 5 or 6 stories, not 12. In case there is a demand to extend the voting window in light of the sheer number of stories we have, I'd be willing to do that. Let me know whether you think a week is enough or whether we should extend that voting window to 10 days or two weeks maybe.

I think those 12 stories read rather rapidly, as at least for me they all captured my attention enough that I wanted to know what is going to happen. Others read slower, but 7 days should offer ample time to get this done. Just my 2 cents.
My collected stories can be found here Shocking, positively shocking

Extend to ten days, I'd say. That way someone coming upon the contest some time during the next weekend would not be pressed to binge-read (and binge-come...)

Most likely a dumb question: There is no way to edit the vote once it is cast?

That is an option I think could be enabled and it may be good :)

I could change that. I was a little worried that votes might strategically get changed close to the end because someone realizes that their favorite can't win and then vote for a less preferred option mostly to spoil the victory of somebody else. But I have no strong preference here. If more people want the vote to be changeable afterwards, I'd be happy to change that setting.
