And just for clarity. the "Sequel" is actually the film, it was inspired by (The Undead 1957).
I have had a sequel idea floating around in the back of my head for decades - in which Livia goes on a "road trip" into the North of England in search of her father (adventures ensue). But it never developed beyond a vague couple of sentences idea... maybe in a few more decades...
