@MillieDynamite did so on 12 June, it's enough for the contest purposes.AdmiralPiet wrote: Mon Jun 22, 2026 3:48 pmIn this topic.

Due to work, I won't be able to enter this contest after all. Sorry, but I'm doing double shifts most of July.

I’m tempted but I just had shoulder surgery and start my next summer course on the 9th. Being down one typing hand and not sure of the class workload doesn’t fare well for sexy story times.

Keep in mind that the word limit for this contest is 1000. So strain on the hand is limited.Roxy Banks wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2026 2:21 am I’m tempted but I just had shoulder surgery and start my next summer course on the 9th. Being busy is understandable. We've released the themes for each part of the tournament, so you can write the first theme if you want to and just post it under the pen name when the tournament stars.R.R.Ryan wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2026 8:47 pm Due to work, I won't be able to enter this contest after all. @VictimEyes @Shocker @MillieDynamite @R.R.Ryan @AdmiralPiet @LtBroccoli @Lucius @over @Vile8r
We have 10 on the list so far with 1 uncertainty, @R.R.Ryan, who may not have realized we released the themes ahead of time. So, here's the current plan:
The tournament will begin with an elimination round.
1st Round - Elimination: Story submission window: Sunday, July 5 through Thursday, July 9 at 0:00 UTC (if you're bad at time zones like me, the time of this post forum time and UTC time is Wednesday 0:11). The stories will then be moved and pinned to the public stories board. The 8 stories with the highest rating on Sunday July 12th 0:00 UTC will advance to the quarterfinal.
2nd Round - Quarterfinal Matchup: Winners of the elimination round will be randomly matched like the last tournament unless there are less than 8 entries in the first round. If fewer than eight stories are entered in Round 1, there will be no quarterfinal matchups. Instead, Round 2 will also be an elimination round, with the four highest-rated stories advancing to the semifinals. Story submission window will similarly be Sunday-Thursday and rating window Thursday-Sunday.
3rd Round - Semifinal Matchup: Winners of the previous round will be randomly matched and follow similar deadlines for posting stories and rating window.
4th Round - Final: The two remaining authors hand in a story and the highest rated story wins.
Note: If you are knocked out of the tournament early or you came across this as a new member and it's too late to sign up, you can still choose to post a story with the theme for fun if you want to. However, only the current contestants will have their stories pinned to the public stories board.

@Clair, I'm sorry, I'm working doubles for the next few weeks and won't be able to participate in the contest. This is kind of a double post, as I posted it in another thread as well. Too little sleep, no writing, and not eating much have me out of sorts.
