The winner of the very first RavishA story contest is atmospheric, the old(-fashioned) powers of the forest against a couple of tourists is a fine horror set-up. There's that AI translation clunky floweriness, but it doesn't detract from the story merits.

Thank you. I'm always a bit skeptical about whether people will like horror themes, but there's so much fantasy potential there that I really like this genre.

And yes, translation is a bit of a weakness for me. I'd actually prefer writing more in German.
