Thank you, I’m not sure about it being one of most popular stories here, I think there are a couple others that deserve that distinction, but not having garnered the necessary upvotes to be moved here. This was a contest entry for the gangrape galore contest, and it got a bit more exposure than those excellent multipart stories. But based on your words I finally need to pout the title back to its correct version which is just fugitives.JTCK wrote: Thu Aug 28, 2025 7:06 am @Shocker wrote:
I completely agree with you. Still, the idea of a policewoman as the victim is especially hotI personally don’t dislike the police, still holding the notion of serve and protect as being at their core.
I actually missed this amazing story until now- the title had put me off. I was expecting something completely different: a run-of-the-mill story with endless, repetitive Tape scenes. But wow, it turned out to be unique.
What more can I say after all these great comments? It’s no wonder it’s one of the most popular stories here on the forum. I especially loved that she holds onto her fighting spirit almost until the very end, even though she has no chance and is forced to endure all these humiliations.

Re: Fugitives
Fantasy stories of powerful women, police officers in particular, forced to submit; humiliated but not suffering permanent harm is one of my kinks so I definitely enjoyed this one. Well written, thank you. But what took it to next level for me was the throwaway line, right at the end, where they cut off her pigtails before leaving. I know it's a personal quirk, but that type of mild abuse really works for me. It's a small thing in perspective, but it will certainly loom large in her mind for a while.

Going after a woman's hair, can get her really worked up. It's incredibly powerful and invasive. Often it has taken decades to grow to a considerable length, but it only takes seconds to destroy.JMarston64 wrote: Mon Oct 06, 2025 8:25 pm Fantasy stories of powerful women, police officers in particular, forced to submit; humiliated but not suffering permanent harm is one of my kinks so I definitely enjoyed this one. Re: Fugitives
Congratulations, @Shocker, for making it to 10,000 views with this story!
I know that there are a few threads with more views than this one, but I think this is nevertheless most likely the most read story on the entire forum. All the other stories with more views have story content spread across several pages, and every time a reader clicks on a new page, a new view is generated. A single reader literally can't read all of Pharma or Record Chaser or Closing Time without generating multiple views even if they read the entire story in one sitting. So of all the stories with very high view counts, Fugitives and Men of War are the only ones that can be read completely with a single view. That makes me quite confident that this here is the most read story on the board despite having "only" the 4th highest view count. That's a nice achievement!

@KatyKat , @Crazychicken and @BlueRaven
Thank you very much for showing your appreciation for my writing here, it’s truly appreciated. The same is true for all the users just adding a rating. and the only reason I’m addressing this here using the mention function, is because Claire had bumped the thread with another comment.
There is something I would like you to think about for a second. Just rating the story but not leaving any comment doesn’t give me the chance to do so in return. It must have cost each if you at least one reputation credit, to access this story, something I could return to you. As newer readers you are likely hurting for those RC a lot more than I do, and giving them to you will enable you to read more stories.
Secondly, and this is the vain author in me speaking, I love to hear what you liked or disliked about my scribbling. I’m not doing this professionally, or I would gave starved years ago, I do this for the kick I get from knowing people read what I wrote. I do get that from a rating, but you can’t imagine the excitement of reading what someone actually felt. It tends to give me ideas for further stories, and how to improve on my writing.
Lastly, if you stumble over a story in the obscurity of our story collection, you liked it well enough to award it 3 points, consider adding that short message. Because then the story will be pushed back to the front, and other new readers can discover it. Just rating it will leave it in its original position of the queue.
We have so many new users joining us on a daily basis, give them a chance to share in an enjoyable experience. We have over 500 stories on RA. A number growing almost daily, very few readers venture beyond page 1.
Thank you for hearing me out.

Re: Fugitives
@Shocker Happy to see the push I gave your story got it some more ratings!
One small thing: The users who rated your story but didn't comment didn't need to spend RC to read it. Only Community Favorites need to be unlocked. So Fugitives can currently be read in full by everyone who is registered. But once you reach 60 points, that will change. Hope to see your story among the Favorites soon!

Re: Fugitives
@Claire it certainly gave a bunch of my stories a little kick. But on far too many it was just the rep, so no chance to reply, as I don’t want to bump those stories myself. It’s why I took a front page story to write my appeal.Claire wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 7:06 pm @Shocker Happy to see the push I gave your story got it some more ratings! One small thing: The users who rated your story but didn't comment didn't need to spend RC to read it. But please correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t users need to be pillars to read popular for free? Some of the folk giving me the reputation have been registered less than 24 hours.

Re: Fugitives
No, that was never the case. Popular Stories are meant incentivize people to register (which they do btw, reading a Popular Story is what new users do first most of the time). If you visit the forum as a guest, then you can read the first post of a multi-chapter Popular Story, so for example the first chapter of Pharma if you click on that. And in case of a one shot like Fugitives, usually about 1/2 to 2/3 is hidden from a guest. If you never done so, try looking at Fugitives in a private tab in your browser. Then you can see what a guest sees.Shocker wrote: Wed Apr 22, 2026 8:03 pm But please correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t users need to be pillars to read popular for free? The Community Favorites are meant to incentivize people to participate more. Originally, the idea was that you unlock all Favorites at once when you become a Pillar. But we changed that to make the stories unlockable one by one by. So ideally, someone would read Fugitives, rate and comment on your story, get a rating from you, and then use that to unlock Record Chaser or whichever story makes it to the Favorites next.
You could already see several instances of people posting to gain rep to unlock Record Chaser, so proof of concept is there that this works. But one story alone by just one author is of course not enough to carry this alone. I would love to have a story from you, and @LaLia, and @Lucius, and @HistBuff, and @RapeU, and @Vela Nanashi, and @Vile8r, and everybody else in there. If we got to that split of 90% Public, 8% Popular, 2% Favorites (so with ~500 stories that's 450, 40, 10) I aimed for, then you would likely notice the difference already.
But yeah, long story short: it's normal that newly registered users rated your stories, even your popular ones. They can read them in full. Popular Stories are meant to get people to take the first hurdle, which is register, and Community Favorites are meant to make them take the second hurdle, which is to post.
I hope that clears it up.
