As for further humiliation -- it was possible, I guess, but no soldier wanted to lose a chance to fuck her before the trial. Anything else would've gone down before the (almost) certain execution. Thanks! It all depended on the emperor. My characters serve the calm, stolid, torpid Antoninus Pius who keeps a single middle-aged concubine and... Marcus Aurelius (yes, that one), the last one to indulge in whores. :D That said, my raping characters tend not to be talkative -- I've always been thrilled by the idea of men staying silent when raping a girl because it's beneath them to talk to her.

What can I say, @Lucius this an all around exquisite read! One thing that stood out to me was the pace of the story was PERFECT! I was purely captivated the entire time. Each scene of abuse was just long enough and gave way to the next in such a way that I never lost interest ^.^ not even for a moment! I was both satiated and left wanting more which is exactly how an author wants their reader

I really liked Ziptia too, she was based af! Who doesn’t love a female warrior!? Huh, who!? There was something extra morbid about breaking a warrior down and raping her repeatedly. And I really loved that angle

Also, I gotta comment on one particular piece of figurative language that I really really liked: “In a heartbeat he was pushing slowly, horribly, driving his WEAPON OF LUST deeper and deeper…”

Pourin one out for “weapon of lust” that was just a great metaphor for a penis. I’m totally giddy about it!

The rapes were brutal, so, of course, I loved them. The idea of being violated by a legion of Roman soldiers just really hits a sweet spot…I think it’s cause I associate them with a certain brand of apathy and cruelty…but also maybe it has to do with the whole conquering fixation their culture had that rubs me the right way in a Roman rape fic either way I fuks with it

I also liked all the detail u gave in the rape scenes, the intensity of the crowd and all the hands grabbing at Zipitia, the abuse of her breasts, the bite marks, the cum-leaking, all the emphasis on the ass-violation…the armpit I really appreciated all those things. They brought the scenes to life!

On a more profound note I realize u wrote Zipitia sort of accepting her death early on…idk about you, but the yo-yo of confronting my morality, accepting it, only to be told I went through that mental hurdle for nothing would be equal parts soul crushing and relieving beyond imagination Zipitia is a warrior tho so maybe that’s why she didn’t experience any prolific mental break down like I imagine I would in her shoes warriors are built different…just ask Steph Curry
