The "Disney's Snow White is the first animated movie" is a common misconception. It's not the first animated movie, it's just the first animated movie to use cel animation.
The actuall first ever animated movie is Creation directed by Pinto Colvig (the original voice actor for Goofy, and Pluto). The movie eather come out in 1915 or 1916. Sadly the movie is lost media, only 35 mm frames survived.
Then after this come El Apóstol (The Apostle), Sin dejar rastros (Without a Trace), both are directed by Quirino Cristiani. And Vida y milagros de Don Fausto (The Life and Miracles of Jiggs), all three movies are completly lost. The El Apóstol was distroyd in a house fire, Sin dejar rastos was confiscated by the Argentinian goverment and probably distroyd, and nobady knows what happand to Vida y milagros de Don Fausto.
Then come the oldest surviving animated movie, in 1926. The Adventures of Prince Achmed directed by Lotte Reiniger.
