@atlasmoth this place is a bit oldschool, the kind of forum that was very popular in the early 2000's before Facebook became popular.
Forum's like these use BB-code to format text. If you want to know more details, we have a tutorial
here written by my dear friend
@Vela Nanashi. But in case of quotes in particular, there is a button at the top right of every post with a quotation mark ("). If you click on that, you quote the entire post. But you can remove everything you don't want to quote. That is often the easiest way to do this:
You can also do it manually. For example, there is also a quotation mark button above the text editor. If you click on that, it should just add the following to your text:
And if you now want to quote someone, you copy the part you want to quote between the square brackets and add the user's name to the first bracket like this:
Code: Select all
I’m new to this format, so I’m not entirely sure how to quote portions of the story
Thank you for the kind words, that's so nice.
You said you liked Record Chaser (which you can unlock now that you earned reputation already

). Late Satisfaction might be interesting for you then. That one takes place in the same universe at the same time in the same town. Would love to hear more of your feedback. It means a lot!
