Drew and Morgana both have their suspicions...

Chapter 88(MF)
Anger. Resentment. Fear. Hatred. Pain. These were Drew’s new best friends over the last few days since they came back from that accursed cabin. He played the whole thing in his head over and over again, wearing himself tired. The physical pain from his ass finally subsided long enough for him to return to the office for work, giving him a chance to get away from his wife for a few hours a day. His pregnant wife.
His beautiful, pregnant wife.
This should be the happiest moment of Drew’s life, but he couldn’t shake what happened to them up at that cabin. Watching his wife get violated more times than he could count and in more ways than he thought were even possible even in the craziest porn videos he’s seen bothered him to no end, but it was watching one of his good mates fuck his wife that shook him to his core. No, Tommy didn’t fuck his wife, he made love to her.
They say that when someone cheats on their partner, they immediately become suspicious that the other partner is doing the same to him. Drew started to believe that up at the cabin, after seeing how Tommy and Morgana didn’t hold back with each other. He knew his wife well enough to tell when she wasn’t fully in the mood or just going through the motions or when she was doing something she didn’t want to do. He saw that with the rest of the sex and rape over the weekend, but there was something different with Tommy. This went beyond simply giving in to the moment, this was a long term itch that she used this moment of pain and fear to scratch. What he saw was a practiced maneuver. They’d done this before.
So that’s why he’s sitting here during lunch on a Friday out on Pharma’s outdoor patio, waiting for a friend of a friend to join him for lunch. That man was Bill Murphy, Pharma’s Head of Security for the Harbor City facility. Murph, as everyone calls him, coordinates security for VIP’s going in and out of Harbor City as well as leads the campus security team for everything from walking the grounds to investigating stolen drugs. He also advises those traveling in and out of the country on what they should expect. Drew’s met with Murph dozens of times over the years, especially with his new role as a senior member of the International Legal Team. But that’s not why he wanted to meet with Murph today. Among his other duties, Murph twilights as a Private Investigator. That’s what helped him get this gig in the first place. He helped uncover a Senior VP’s husband cheating on her and parlayed that into a position of trust where now if anyone above Director level needs a hand or has a dirty problem to solve, he’s on it. He’s supposedly cleaned up messes ranging from getting speeding tickets cleared out to fixing a suicide so it looked like an accidental overdose. He spent 20 years with the Chester County Police Department before retiring once his pension vested following an ‘unfortunate incident’ that resulted in getting his right shoulder rebuilt.
Drew wondered what and how he was going to bring this up to Murph when he spotted the other man approach. He was slightly above average height for an American, so several centimeters shorter than himself. Murph’s hairline had long since retreated from his forehead and all that was left was a crown of dirty blonde hair around his dome and some wisps over top that attempted to look like a comb over. His mustache matched his hair and was neatly trimmed. He wasn’t fat like most yanks, but still sported a little belly fat, but that’s common with men in or around their 50’s. He wore a nice enough gray suit and a button-up white shirt, but had foregone the standard tie. Murph pointed out that his job required him to get physical with people, and the worst thing to have hanging around your neck in a fight is a piece of rope for the other guy to use as a weapon. He rarely took his jacket off, as he preferred to use a shoulder holster and not everyone in the building is comfortable with him carrying a pistol all the time. Murph had a coffee cup from the in-house barista in his left hand as he stopped right before the table.
“Mr. Williams, good to see you again sir.” Murph smiled and extended his hand for a shake. Drew stood and shook it, smiling back.
“Thanks mate. How’s things?” Drew asked as the pair sat down in their chairs.
“Living the dream. You?” Murph replied, reading Drew’s face twist from a forced smile briefly as he asked.
“That’s… that’s what I wanted to talk about. I understand you do a little work on the side.” Drew said.
“Depends on what you mean.” Murph replied.
Drew’s face twisted around in agony as he thought about how he wanted to say this. This was a first for Drew, the silver-tongued lawyer being at a loss for words. “I think my wife’s having an affair.” The words hurt to think, but saying them out loud was painful. He sat there for a moment, waiting for Murph to respond. When the older man just nodded, Drew continued. “I don’t know, it’s kind of complicated, but something happened over the weekend. I’d rather not go into too many details, but I suppose I’ll have to to explain the situation. Last weekend a group of us went up to Lake Hiawatha for a trip into the woods. Events happened that put a lot of us through stress. I don’t want to talk about it unless I absolutely have to. Needless to say, we were each forced to do things we’d normally never do, but one of them was seeing my wife screw my bloke Tommy.”
“I’m sorry, what?” Murph said, leaning forward and putting his coffee down. “What happened up there?”
“I don’t want to talk about it unless you’re taking the case. But that wasn’t the worst thing to happen over the weekend. I had to look over the NDA’s a dozen times to make sure that even talking to you doesn’t violate them. But the short version is that I can’t get the image of those two making love out of my mind. They were a little too good at it, if you catch my drift.” Drew said, obviously in discomfort.
“Wait, something was bad enough that you’re stuck in NDA Hell with Lake Hiawatha Resorts, and your first reaction is that your wife got screwed so good you think there’s a history there and want me to see if she’s hooking up with a friend of yours?” Murph asked.
“Pretty much. Let me send you a couple pics.” Drew texted Murph a couple pics of Morgana, one or two of Tommy, and one of the three of them with an tall older man, a buxom woman, and a gorgeous little thing that’s as skinny as a rail. The last pic looks like it was taken up at the resort.
Murph hid his reaction as best he could. All three of the women were amazing, and he recognized the old man as his buddy James. A closer look at the buxom woman sparked his recognition. Bianca Jones if his memory hadn’t failed him. Her ex had hired him to look for any dirt he could find on her. So far she’s been clean as a whistle and Murph’s had no problem cashing his checks for the occasional tail from the office. He studied the photos and let Drew speak for a minute.
“So, the blonde is Morgana, my wife. The tall skinny guy is Tommy Gearheardt. He’s been with the company since March, working over on the construction side at the new HQ building. We met him back in April I think, at one of those little soirees we have. Tommy works with James St. Croix, the old man in the last photo. Well, not really old but old for this group. He’s kind of a dick but a nice guy when you get used to him. Next to Tommy is Aislinn Walker, my sister-in-law. She’s in Legal, taking over my old job. The other woman in the photo is Bianca Jones, Morgana’s friend and boss. I’ve been doing a lot of traveling between here and home the last few months, more than usual. We just purchased a house, moved in recently but are still straddling two places. Morgie’s spent a lot of time with Tommy the last few months. We don’t have a ton of friends up here outside of work, and with the whole house buying stuff I haven’t had a chance to be here for it.” Drew said as Murph kept looking at the photos.
“And you think that they started hooking up while you were down under?” Murph said casually. He’d seen this part of the problem before.
“I didn’t think that until after this weekend, but now I’m starting to piece things together. There’s a group text chat that is almost always just memes and whatever stuff we’re planning for the day, but I don’t see text alerts come from him. She says she doesn’t like using WhatsApp because why use it when we have all these other methods, but I’ll see the occasional notification for the app out of the corner of my eye. But the biggest one is, well, this is a secret.”
“Go on.” Murph said, waiting on Drew to continue.
“She’s pregnant. We’ve been trying for a little bit, since maybe early last month. She just had her IUD removed while I was down in Melbourne recently and was experiencing morning sickness over last weekend. She took a test a couple nights ago and she’s pregnant, but I’m getting worked up thinking it might not be mine. I mean, I know we had sex during that time, but I think they’ve been fucking for a few weeks, if not longer.” Drew stopped, giving Murph time to digest everything.
“Are you suspicious enough to ask for a DNA test?” Murph asked before taking a sip of his coffee.
“That’s the thing, I think she wants me to ask. Listen, I can’t tell you the rest of this unless I know you’re on the case, but it involves why I’m in NDA Hell as you called it.” Drew said with a sense of worry on his face.
Murph nodded. “I’m in. You know my normal rates by now, we’ll go with that plus expenses for hours booked. So what happened?” He leaned in a little more intently to hear the story.
Drew looked around, making sure that no one else was paying attention. Just before he spoke, an older woman sat down at the table right next to them with her lunch. “Let’s take a walk.”
“Okay, but I charge double for walking.” Murph said with a chuckle. Once they were out of earshot of the patrons, Drew spoke up again.
“The long and short of it is that we went up to Lake Hiawatha for a weekend holiday, but it turned into a home invasion and a days long sexual assault that ended in a double homicide. At least that’s what the police said.” Drew said as they walked. Murph stopped for a moment to catch his thoughts on that statement.
“A double homicide? A home invasion, and I’m guessing a gang rape? I hope there’s at least a decent payout for all of this.” Murph said, catching back up to Drew.
“There is. I’m getting $350,000 while Morgana’s getting 650,000. She went through a lot worse than I did and I was able to argue that with their lawyer. Seeing how quickly they agreed, I should’ve asked for more. Still, our house will be paid off once the checks clear and we’ll still have enough for a nice start to the college fund.” Drew replied as they continued their walk.
“Money’s not everything, but a million bucks is a million bucks. You thinking that this Tommy character would make a play on it?”
“Nah, Murph. I think he was fucking my wife long before this happened. The payouts are compensation for everything we went through on the resort’s property and is their way to mitigate a disaster. There’s a ton more detail if you need to hear it, but the short is a group of 3 guys and 1 girl tried to rob our place, kidnapped the 6 of us plus 2 others that showed up, a couple named Joe and Mary. When we tried to fight back, they beat the shit out of me then decided to make an example by raping my wife in front of all of us. They took turns raping her, then Bianca, then that Mary woman, then Aislinn. Then they made all us guys join in. They made me fuck my sister-in-law, made me fuck Mary, that girl that was with them, then made the girls fuck each other over and over again. They did everything to us, from waking us up in the middle of the night to rape us or make us watch each other being violated to forcing each of us to perform lewd acts. And they recorded each and every moment of it. At least it felt like that. Then, when they finally left Monday morning, another group of rednecks showed up. I wasn’t so lucky this time, and they brought a couple dogs to the party. Just as things were about to get completely out of line, some shots go off outside. See, they shot one of the guys from the first party and captured the girl, some Asian girl, think her name was Kim. After fucking that good for nothing whore, they take her outside and let her run off into the woods before putting a few in her from a distance and letting the bears eat them both. Cops showed up a short time later, followed by the resort’s lawyer. There’s more to it, but that’s the gist of it.” They were several hundred meters away from the patio into the parking lot as he told the story, nobody around to hear them.
“Holy shit.” That’s all Murph could say for a long moment.
“Yep.”
“Something I don’t get, how does Tommy fucking your wife fit into this? It sounds like he was forced to do her.” Murph posed the question as something straightforward enough, even though the situation was crazy.
“You know when you screw someone enough times you learn what they like and don’t like? Well, he knew all of her special tricks, like how she loves having her neck nuzzled or a big deep kiss right when she’s on the verge of cumming. Sure, this could've been lucky guesses, but he was a little too good. When they made me do Aislinn like that, I wasn’t even in the same universe with knowing her body. I defaulted to doing what I normally do with Morgy. Aislinn seemed liked she liked it, but she didn’t scream out my name during an orgasm.” Recalling the incident pissed Drew off all over again. The more he talked, the more animated and pissed he got, feeding the cycle of anger and pain. “FUCK! I can’t get it out of my head. Every time I hear her voice, it’s ‘fuck me harder, Tommy’. Every time I kiss her, I taste the dozen or so cocks she sucked. Every time she touches me, my skin crawls. She got fucked by a couple dozen people the last week, and I’m supposed to just forget all about it? Now she’s pregnant, and god only knows if it’s mine or not. And because of all this shit that happened last week, if it is Tommy’s baby, that fucking bitch will just say ‘it must’ve happened at the cabin.’ I can’t eat, or sleep, or look at her without seeing any of the dozen or so men that fucked her. I can’t sit down without wincing after that fucking gook whore pegged me and those redneck faggots raped me. I can’t go to a fucking clinic to get a screening up here without filling out 800 medical forms and getting a thousand questions from Doctor Fuckall Useless, and worst of all I can’t tell her how I feel because I’ve been a bastard, too. FUCK!” Drew collapsed in a heap in a strip of lawn under some trees, curled up in a ball. Murph sat down next to him and put a hand on his shoulder.
“I’m sorry. This whole thing, it’s just, wow. It’s not that bad, is it? You really think you’re a bastard?” Drew looked up, tears running down his cheeks. The look on his face told Murph all he needed to know. “What’s her name?”
“Celeste. That’s also a bit fucked, but not ‘gangraped by rednecks with automatic weapons’ fucked. She’s my old mate from university. Met her before Morgy, dated for a bit but we were better off as friends. Drifted apart after Morgy got jealous of her and we went our separate ways. Turned out she was renting the flat next to me with her boyfriend, but he dumped her, fucked off back to the Gold Coast. I let her in, we hung out, drank, next thing we know we’re making love in my flat. I offered her that she could use the place while I’m up here, and when I get back it’s just a normal thing, y’know? Well, those arseholes also took pics of my texts with Celeste to use as blackmail. Half expecting that to blow up, too.” Drew cried a little more, this time it felt different. “Sorry ‘bout the whole mess there, Murph. I’m not usually like this.”
“I know. It’s kinda diff icult to find out your wife was fucking one of your friends. What’s the plan if or when I find something?” Murph asked.
“I don’t know. I’m hoping you don’t find anything, maybe give her a chance to come clean and we work things out, for the kid of course. Assuming that it’s mine to begin with.” Drew broke into another sob as Murph shifted his posture.
“I think you’ve got a great excuse for the DNA test, and she’ll probably go along with it. Because of everything that happened up at the cabin, just say that you want it done to make sure that one of those assholes didn’t cause this. As long as it comes back as yours, you’re fine. If it comes back as anyone not you, grab that skinny fuck by the hair and shove a cotton swab in his mouth for a sample. That way you know who’s the daddy. But if she’s smart, and she sounds like she is, you might need to give her a window to screw him or go to him if she is. When’s your next trip to Melbourne planned for?”
“Not until mid-October. Why? You think that if I give her a window of time to fuck that pretty boy, she’ll jump his bones the minute I’m on the plane?” Drew responded, the vitriol in voice taking on a bitter tone.
“I hope not, but a trip at a vulnerable time like this might be enough to make her spend more time with him.”
The idea sounded logical, though he knew Morgana would hate him leaving so soon. “Not next week, too soon. I think I can come up with an emergency for the week after. That’ll give her some time to fool around if she’s doing that. But what if… nah. Even if she says she only started fucking him after the cabin, it’s still fucking him. Besides, I think this’ll work. Either she’s fucking Tommy or she’s not. If she is, I don’t know. If she isn’t… I don’t know either.” Drew’s voice trailed off. He motioned to stand up and Murph grabbed his hand, helping the younger man get to his feet.
They continued their path around the building, getting back to a main door. Drew dried his eyes and once inside cleaned himself off in one of the bathrooms. Later, he initiated a travel request for 10 days from now to return to Melbourne. He then texted Celeste from his work phone that he would be returning a little sooner than expected, and apologized for being distant and that he’d explain everything as soon as he could. After that he called Morgy and told her the bad news. Something came up that he would have to look into personally.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Murph sat in his office typing away extemporaneous notes on his laptop. The office was in the executive suite area of the building, but he was by no means an executive. He had the smallest office out of area, and the only one that didn’t have glass windows. He was happy with that, though. This meant that he could take his jacket off and not have to undo his holster while working here, and he could have a modicum of privacy, something that the head of security needs. His proximity to the executives means he’s available at a moment’s notice when one of them calls for him. His office was rather spartan in adornment, aside from a couple pics of him with various executives on trips, like his spearfishing trip with Bruce “The Butcher” Sanders from a couple years ago. The lighting gave him a headache most of the time, so he tried to spend as little time as possible in the room. He disliked how much he slumped over while typing while trying to read the screen, but was told that upgrades were coming in a few months so he would get a monitor and dock setup then, along with a standing desk riser.
He wrote down everything Drew told him, trying to remember every detail as well as he could. For a moment he didn’t believe the story, but when Drew got pissed recalling Tommy’s banging his wife real good he knew there was something to the story. Murph jotted down every detail of the story, sent Drew a link to an encrypted document engaging him for his PI services, then sat for a while staring at the pics Drew sent him. He knew he was going to take this case as soon as he saw that hot blonde. He would enjoy tailing her. He looked forward to catching her in the act, and if he was lucky he’d get a piece of that pussy, too.
Murph didn’t continue doing PI work for the money or the love of doing good. He did it because it scratched an itch for him, and that itch was vouyeristic and animalistic. His ethics would go out the window when he confronted a hot housewife whose husband accused her of cheating and gave her the simple choice of fucking and sucking him off or having him tell her husband what she’s up to. Most of his clients were either corporate lawyers trying to screw someone out of some money, jealous spouses balls deep in their own affairs, or estranged parents trying to track down kids that want nothing to do with them. Occasionally he’d get the crazy request to track down a long-lost lover, but those almost always fell into the stalker category. If there’s one thing he’s learned since he left the force, it was how to control when to scratch that itch. He knew that the desperation that comes from getting caught can drive someone to do terrible things. And here he was, scoping out that blonde Morgana hoping that she would do something terrible to keep her hubby from finding out about her affair.
It didn’t take long for Drew to respond back and confirm the fees and retainer. He knew that he couldn’t lie about his hours to Drew since they worked together, nor could he fabricate evidence either. Morgana worked for the company too, but they ran in different circles and he wasn’t worried about her finding out. The only reason she would be suspicious about the head of security talking to her husband was if this was a secret. Word’s getting around about Drew’s new position and how that puts him in the orbit of the executives. Meeting with the ‘top cop’ of the building was pretty normal for his position. Still, he would have to be discreet.
He gathered his notes and put them in a folder on his desktop labeled the invoice number and DW, for Drew Williams. It wouldn’t take Murph too long to get a basic history of everyone involved in Drew’s story. If he was in a hurry, he could even bust out a bunch of stuff this weekend. He checked his calendar. He was booked Saturday morning to take Bruce’s daughter to the airport, then make sure she was safe and secure so that Bruce could bring his escort over that looked a hell of a lot like his grown daughter so he could fuck the high-priced whore on his daughter’s bed. Then he had to tail a workman’s comp case to a volleyball tournament and see if this guy’s blown out shoulder was good enough to serve. After that was a request from an overbearing, addicted woman who claims she did nothing wrong and doesn’t know why her daughter moved across the state to get away from her. Finally, he had a request from a divorcee to tail his soon to be ex for a couple hours while he’s out of town for the weekend. Looking ahead a couple weekends he would have plenty of time to chase down this Morgana woman, hopefully catch her in an compromising position. Then, use that compromised position to make her take a few positions with him, like doggy and reverse cowgirl.
As he put his schedule down for the next week, he checked his mails from clients. He had one from Phil Jones, demanding to know if there’d been any updates on his ex. Murph rolled his eyes at the mail. “This fucking guy.” If there’s one thing he hates, it’s whiny exes who can’t let the past go. From everything he tracked down, his ex-wife was clean as a whistle. The only reason he kept answering Phil’s mails was he wasn’t going to tell an idiot how to spend their money. Phil was convinced that Bianca was a terrible mother, but everything he accused her of was projection large enough for a drive-in theater. The best way to deal with a dick like that is wait for him to wear himself out and cancel the service. But then he thought about what Drew said and the case he just took on. Drew described a pretty in-depth sexual violation for everyone involved, along with some hefty payouts. Murph knew that Phil would shit his pants if he found out that Bianca was involved in a gang rape turned double homicide and if she received a payout to keep quiet, he’d sue for the total amount plus damages because he’s that petty. The more he looked at the picture of the six of them from the past weekend, the more he wanted to stick his face in her tits and motorboat them.
But that would be for another day. First things first was finding out what he could about Tommy and Morgana, and to do that he would wait until the work day ended, drive home, wait until he saw James’s pickup in the parking lot of their condo plan, and pay his neighbor a visit.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Drew was off all night in his new house. He sat in the driveway longer than normal, trying to think of the right way to ask for the DNA test for the baby. He knew he’d have to ask her to do this sooner rather than later. The only person besides them that know about the pregnancy is Aislinn, and that’s because she was in the house when Morgana took the test. The only thing that was going on his side of this was the gang rape last weekend, and this could be his ticket to make this not as awkward.
Morgana had cooked dinner for them since she worked from home today, a nice grilled chicken and rice for him and fried rice and salad for her. They chit chatted about their day, about the baby, which room of the house they’d use as the nursery, if Aislinn should move in with them, and why it would be a good idea to encourage her to get her own place. They wanted their privacy and to try their hand at being parents. Aislinn was young, single, and probably wouldn’t want to get woken up at 3 in the morning for a dirty diaper or feeding. If she really, really needs a place she was welcome to stay, but they really hoped she’d choose to live elsewhere. They still had their old apartment leased in their names and it would be pretty easy to transfer that to her.
As they ate, Morgana brought up her disappointment with Drew’s job sending him out so soon. He told her just the week prior that they had at least a month together, but now it was being cut short by three weeks. Drew apologized, saying that it couldn’t be helped. He knew that there was nothing he could do to change what happened but hoped to make it up to her soon. This next trip should only be 2 to 3 weeks at most, then he would be home for a longer stretch after that. They had a lot of planning to do, but first he said there was something he wanted to get off his chest.
Drew stuttered and stammered his way through a prepared speech about what happened and with the pregnancy test coming up positive, he was nervous and anxious, but the thing he was most anxious about was whether or not he was the father, or one of those monsters from last weekend.
“So what, you want me to get a paternity test?” Morgana asked. All he could do was nod. She grabbed his hand and squeezed it. “It’s okay, hun, I’ll do it. I’m kinda glad ya asked. Honestly, just want to be on the safe side. I’ll schedule it soon and we’ll get this squared away.” She gave him a kiss on the cheek, and for the first time this week he reciprocated her affections. These continued all the way to the bedroom where they made love for the first time all week.
There was something different about Drew as he fucked Morgana this time. He was angrier than usual. He focused on his enjoyment over hers this time, and almost seemed mad at her as he fucked her. She chalked this up to him dealing with all of the stress and anxiety of his job rolled into the trauma they experienced over the weekend.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
It wasn’t until after sex and he was fast asleep that Morgana thought long and hard about their conversation as she drifted off to sleep. He’s been worried about whether or not he was the father, and just asked her to get a paternity test. He used the excuse of the gang rape as the reason that he was worried about the baby’s parentage, even though he most likely knew she was pregnant long before that. He knew that she was pregnant before the weekend began, and that getting fucked by the dozen or so men there wouldn’t change anything. Unless she was doubly knocked up with twins or the unlikely chance that she lost one baby and was instantly impregnated again right way, there was no way that any of those assholes was the father. She’s smart enough to know that. She knows Drew is smart enough to know that. So why would Drew ask for a paternity test now?
Tommy.
The realization that he might suspect something scared her out of her half-slumber and straight awake. If he knew about her and Tommy, why didn’t he say anything? Easy, he didn’t know. He’s using his jealousy over what happened this week to cover up his insecurities, and she was using it cover up and get to the bottom of who the father was. She knew there’s an above zero percent chance that the baby is Tommy’s. She had her IUD taken out just a few days before the first time her and Tommy screwed, and that first night they didn’t use protection. They were careful each time since, but there’s still a chance that something slipped out. And since she didn’t know exactly when she was knocked up, it’s not like she could point it to being the time Drew fucked her in the walk-in closet or the kitchen or anywhere else. Or it could’ve been one of the times she fucked Tommy.
But that led to an even harder question? What if the baby was Tommy’s? She had one out, and one out only. Sunday up at the cabin. Tommy fucked her real good during that time. So good that it made Drew jealous and demand a DNA test. She could make up some story that this is when everything happened. Maybe she was just sick right before but the pregnancy didn’t start until that moment. But that led to the what-if’s and other hard questions, like what if it was one of those other guys, or why Tommy but not any of the other guys that fucked her? She could try to come up with a response, but nothing seemed good enough to her. It was all just one excuse after another.
She looked up how paternity tests are done in utero and how much they cost. It wasn’t too bad, honestly. There’s a small amount of the baby’s DNA in her bloodstream already, but as it gets bigger, more will be present. The lab will draw a blood sample and find the DNA that isn’t hers and isolate it from her sample. Then they’ll compare it to the known male samples and determine parentage to within a 99.99% accuracy. Considering that Tommy and Drew aren’t identical twins, then this should be the answer. All she would need is a sample from one or both of them, and that’s all she wrote on that. She knew that pregnancies are marked from the start of the previous period, but she didn’t have one following her IUD removal. So she’s anywhere from 2-6 weeks along, give or take a few years. If she was going to do something, she’d have to do it soon. They didn’t want to tell anyone about the kid until at least the end of the first trimester just in case there was in issue that arose. She had a friend who miscarried about 2 months in right after telling her family and she got nothing but grief from them afterwards. She knew that if it wasn’t either Drew or Tommy’s, she’d abort right away. If it was Drew’s, definitely keeping it. But Tommy’s? Would Drew leave her if she kept it? Would he stay either way? Would Tommy want to be a dad? What if Drew stayed but Tommy insisted on being in its life?
But it’s not all she wrote on another issue. Why did Drew suspect her and Tommy of having an affair? He never said it to her, but his request meant he either suspected something or was too stupid to know how babies are made. Honestly, she’d feel better knowing he didn’t know exactly but he was too smart for that. Morgana ran through everything he’s done in the last few months with them and how careful she’s been with Tommy, covering her tracks and only talking about memes and basic stuff in text. Anything personal was done on WhatsApp in a secure chat with no backup. She didn’t keep any photos of them that weren’t friendly, and refused to do anything sexual with her phone with him. She knew she’d have to double check everything she did and went now that she suspected that Drew knew.
That’s when it all finally clicked for Morgana. Maybe Drew was suspicious because he was cheating on her and projecting this on her. She got up quietly from bed and walked around the house. She found his work phone back out in the family room and unlocked it. Nothing unusual there, just the normal stuff. No pics in the gallery that were crazy, nothing suspicious in his apps like Tinder or Bumble, and his Reddit only had his one known account. Nothing out of the ordinary here. None of the text chains were out of place. There’s a couple from guys she didn’t recognize like a man named Charles, but those were innocuous. There was one text from that Charles character that ended with ‘I’ll see you soon, txt me l8r’ and was replied back with a winky emoji. Charles was a Melbourne number. She took a pic of the number and several texts, just in case, then sent it to her work and personal mails. After that, she deleted the pics.
Morgana locked the phone and put it back where she found it. Drew’s personal phone was with his work laptop. She rarely ever looked at this device. She tried to unlock it, but the passcode was different than the last time she opened it. He had changed it from their anniversary. She tried again with his birthday, no dice. She tried a third time her birthday, but again no dice. She put the phone back where she found it and wondered why he was more protective of this phone. She thought for a second and figured that if he was cheating, he wouldn’t be dumb enough to use his personal phone where his wife had access to it. Then again, it would be about as dumb to use company property to pull off these shenanigans, too.
She went back to the pics of the conversation with Charles and investigated them a little closer. The last text was sent on Tuesday, but most of the responses where straight forward replies, though a little flirty and with lots of emojis. That seemed pretty unusual for a workplace conversation. Morgana went to her home office as it was and logged on to her laptop. A few minutes later, she was searching through the Pharma Outlook directory for anyone named Charles in Melbourne, and then for that number. No luck. It could be a personal cellie, but if so it wasn’t anyone he knew from Pharma. That would’ve shown up in the search as well.
As Morgana’s suspicions grew, she noticed it was getting late and needed to get some sleep. She sent a text to Aislinn, asking how things were going. After a little back and forth, she sent her sister a pic of the number from Drew’s contacts and asked if she could take a look into it one day. No rush on the matter. She also asked her little sister if she could keep an eye out for Drew when he gets down there, maybe swing by his place to see how things are going.

Aislinn decides to test a theory while everyone settles in to new patterns...

Chapter 89(MF,FF)
The next week and a half was relatively quiet for everyone as they settled back into their routines following the events of the cabin. James and Bianca were able to grab lunch a couple times during the workweek as a chance to get to know each other better. Drew helped Morgana around the house while he was home and kept his nose to the grindstone while not. Morgana was busying herself with everyday tasks and settling into their new home and sending Tommy messages on WhatsApp on the sly when no one was around. And Tommy, he was back to his normal pattern of stalking Morgana on the cams and talking to her online. The only one absent from this lull was Aislinn, as she was back in Australia getting ready for her move to the States in a few weeks. There was a mountain of paperwork and procedures she had to overcome before she could move up north.
Still, that didn’t stop Aislinn from living a little. After a trip to the clinic upon arrival where she got the relatively good news that the only STD she caught from the weekend was trichomoniasis and a scrip for the required antibiotics, she was free and clear. A little self-disclosure and some memes in the group chat and she seemed to be back to her former self.
Of course she wasn’t. She was still utterly devastated by what happened to her, but knew that she couldn’t control what happened to her, just how she reacted going forward. Aislinn decided that the best thing she could do was live her life to the fullest. The first thing on that list was spending as much time with her mates as possible before moving. She went out drinking with her friends Friday and Saturday night, and met up with some others for a brunch on Sunday morning. Monday and Tuesday were spent dealing with work during the day and running errands in the evening. Monday night she met up with some friends for dinner and a quick trip to a club. That night ended with a hook-up with a random bloke. He was cute, but a lazy fuck that left her unfulfilled. Tuesday was more of the same with work, dinner, club, fucking.
Aislinn decided that for Wednesday she should change things up. She’d been sitting on a request from her sister for almost a week about looking up a cellie she found on Drew’s phone. Work was quiet, most of her paperwork was processed, and all she had to do was look up a cell phone number. After killing a few minutes seeing if it was assigned to anyone in the company, she looked it up on an app she has access to seeing who it’s assigned to. It belonged to C.M. Campbell. A quick search on Google and LinkedIn came back with a few options, but nothing really definitive. Then she got lucky. One of the faces on LinkedIn looked familiar, C. M. Campbell of Melbourne and Gold Coast. Graduated from ANU a couple years back, same time as Drew and Morgana. She focused her career on some aspect of marketing and communications that served well in public relations. After checking out the pic a little closer, she knew where she recognized her from. This was the woman from the barbecue over the winter a couple months ago at Drew’s bungalow. She was his neighbor or friend or something like that. Marie, but she swore she heard someone call her Celeste.
This was the woman Aislinn dreamed about. When she was at her lowest during the assault and being forced to have sex with her sister, this is the woman she imagined was licking her pussy. This is the woman she pretended she was eating out instead of Bianca or Mari or Morgana. This was the woman that she’d touched herself to several times over the past few months and several more times since landing in Melbourne. This woman… Aislinn thought a lot about her over the last couple months. She never considered herself gay or bi, though she did have a little fun with girls from time to time. She couldn’t tie it down, but there was something about this woman that made her want more.
Aislinn went down the rabbit hole of legal online stalking for the rest of Wednesday, learning everything she could about this woman. She goes by Celeste, but her middle name is Marie. She recently moved back down to Melbourne following a couple years in Gold Coast. She could see from her Instagram that she was recently single. Looking back at some old pics, her and Drew used to be real tight and had a thing going on back in the day. That’s when she put 2 and 2 together. Morgana mentioned a while back about Drew’s ex always hanging around and being a general pain in the ass. Drew didn’t want to stop seeing his old mate, but agreed to put some distance between them for a while. That separation grew and Celeste was never mentioned again. The first time she saw Celeste was back at the party. She wasn’t even at Drew’s wedding. Aislinn figured they must’ve been pretty strained by that point, but she really never saw Morgana get quite as jealous as she did when Celeste was mentioned.
She decided to leave the office early that day and went home to continue her stalking. Once she was back in her nearly empty flat, she poured herself a glass of red wine, popped a CBD gummy, and stripped out of her work clothes. She navigated to Celeste’s Instagram page, then her TikTok and YouTube pages. The content was kind of all over the place, but just seemed to focus on her and her hobbies. Aislinn spent longer than she wished watching Celeste’s content, pleasuring herself along the way, imagining how those hands would feel on her body, how her mouth tasted, and how soft and sultry she would feel. It all culminated in the most powerful orgasm she’s had in a long time. She pleasured herself again and again that evening, not stopping until she was exhausted. Aislinn wasn’t sure what came over her, but she couldn’t help herself. To be honest, it was the best she’s felt since, well, her time with Tommy. And if she thought long and hard about that question, who knows.
As she went to the bathroom, a thought struck her as she washed her hands. Morgana suspected Drew of cheating on her with Celeste. Why else would she send her this specific number? Morgana didn’t go into too many details, but told her that she got this number under the name Charles on his work phone. She couldn’t check his personal phone because he changed his passcode. Morgana suspects that he did that because he’s afraid of something. Up until the attack, his passcode was their anniversary. Now, she doesn’t know what it is. Drew doesn’t keep things from her, so changing the passcode and storing a woman’s name under a man’s in his contacts is suspicious. So Morgana asked Aislinn to check out this number and who it belongs to, find out what she can. But she didn’t know what her sister would do with that information.
Aislinn decided that she needed more info, and what better way to do that than to pay a visit to Drew’s place. She still had the address from his party a couple months back, so she just needed an excuse to drop by and meet this woman. Aislinn would find something to drop off at Drew’s place and strike up a conversation with her. Knowing it was the asscrack of dawn in the states and Drew wouldn’t be up yet, she came up with a plan. She’d find something in her apartment that she ‘wants him to have’ and will send him a text that she’s on her way to his place to drop it off, and ask him if there's anyone she can leave it with someone since she might be out of town this weekend. That should give her an excuse to talk to Celeste again. After looking through her apartment for a few minutes for anything that wasn’t already packed, she found a little crystal sculpture in the shape of a rugby ball. She was going to leave this in storage back at her parent’s house but decided that this would be a nice ‘gift’ for Drew to give to Morgy.
She spent a few minutes getting dressed in a nice orange and white striped jumpsuit and white sandals, then did her makeup. It was just enough to show some effort in looking good, but not enough to be blatantly obvious she just put some on. She put her hair up with a clip that matched her chestnut mane and threw on her glasses. This wasn’t a contacts night, and no reason to put them in now. Aislinn didn’t want to look like too much effort was put into her look.
Aislinn got in her Subaru and texted Drew that she was headed over to his bungalow to drop off something she found and checked to see if there was someone she could leave this with. She knew it was very early in the States and if she received a response it would probably be after she was on her way over. Much to her surprise, she did get a response just as she was pulling up to the house. He asked what, why, and why now. She texted back that it was a gift that Morgy would like, but would like it more coming from him, and that she just found it while packing for a weekend trip. They went back and forth which Aislinn gave reason after reason why this was the best time to drop it off. She knew she could be a bit flighty and stubborn and used that to her advantage. Eventually Drew agreed and said he’d text his neighbor if she could hold onto it for him. He asked how long until she got there, but she was already parked out front. The three dots spun for what seemed like forever before he responded with ‘Ok. Just head to the door.’
While Aislinn texted with Drew, she kept an eye on his place. He lived on the left side of the duplex. Lights were on in both sides of the place, which Aislinn thought was suspicious. The right side of the duplex had a dog lead and some kids toys in the yard while the left, Drew’s side, was clean aside from porch furniture. Her suspicions were confirmed a few minutes later when a filipino-looking woman opened the door on the right side and put a little terrier on the lead.
She made sure she looked good then gathered her courage as she walked to the house. Aislinn was halfway across the street when she realized she forgot the crystal in the car, so she turned and retrieved it before going to the house, her anxiety almost getting the better of her. That little dog yapping next door didn’t help matters. She knocked on the door, and a moment later a beautiful brunette woman with brown eyes, hair down to shoulders, and a nice figure opened the door. The woman was dressed in a white tank top and shorts, making it obvious by her clothes she wasn’t expecting any guests tonight.
“Oi? Guessing you’re Ash?” The woman asked.
“Yeah, we met a while back, at Drew’s barbie after he moved in. Marie, right?” Aislinn asked, knowing the answer ahead of time.
“Yeah. You’re the sister-in-law lawyer, right? Fancy seein’ ya again.” Celeste nodded, the conversation coming back to her. She went by her middle name that day because Drew’s sister-in-law was there, and the last thing he needed was a fight with his wife over her being in the same area code when she’s back in the states. The dog barking constantly interrupted her thoughts.
“Mind if I come in?” Aislinn asked, motioning to the living room. Celeste nodded and let Aislinn enter, closing the door behind her. Aislinn was taller even in the flats, but Celeste had a little more weight to her. “Want something to drink? I got water, juice, white, and red. I’m having a white myself.”
“White’s fine.” Aislinn took a quick inventory of the place. It was obvious that a woman lived here now. The place was neat and decorated, there were picture frames on various pieces of furniture, the place smelled like flowers, and it had a warm, inviting feel. The coffee table had some food leftovers on it, and the TV was playing a cooking show on Netflix. It was not a bachelor pad. She couldn’t see much further than the adjoining dining area, but seeing a lappy set up on the table helped drive home the fact that this woman lived here, not next door. Aislinn had so many questions but wanted to move slow.
“Here ya go.” Celeste returned with two glasses of wine. Aislinn’s was a little lower than hers, but just a little. Aislinn took the glass and followed Celeste’s lead to sit on the couch. Aislinn felt her heart flutter a little as she sat so close to this woman. “So, Drew texted, said ya had somethin’ to drop off.”
“Yeah. I was packing some things and found this. Figured Morgy’d like it, but would like it more if it came from Drew. Supposed to be outta town by the time he gets back, and I was in the area.” She handed the crystal rugby ball over to Celeste. It’s a little bigger than a fist, but smaller than a melon. Celeste looked at it before putting it on the coffee table.
“That’s pretty. Sure she’ll like it. You said you’re packing?” Celeste asked, giving Aislinn a good look.
“Oi. Moving to the States in a few weeks, so just tryin’ to clean some stuff up.” Aislinn said, looking around. “Place looks nice. Like what you’ve done with it.”
“Thanks.” Celeste said reflexively. It wasn’t until a moment later she realized how loaded the question was. “No, it’s not like that, not at all. It’s just, well, I’m more like housesitting while he’s gone, and living in a bachelor pad can be pretty dull, know what I mean?” She rambled for a moment and put her face in her free hand before Aislinn gently put a hand on her thigh.
“It’s okay Marie.” Aislinn said.
“Please, call me Celeste. Marie’s my middle name, don’t really like it. It’s just, well, for some reason Morgy never got along with me and Drew wasn’t sure how’d you’d react.” Celeste said, pausing only to take a sip of wine.
“How do you mean?”
“Well, long story short Drew and I were besties before she came around but he stopped hanging ‘round after they got serious. We dated for a bit back in Uni, but that lasted maybe a couple months at most. It just, never really felt right, y’know?” Celeste asked, and Aislinn nodded, her hand still on Celeste’s thigh.
“Think I get it.” Aislinn said, looking at Celeste’s face as though she were trying to memorize it.
“I mean, we’re just friends, just met up casually when he moved in. He’s just a good bloke, y’know? I mean, it’s not like that. I housesit when he’s up in the States, but his wife would have a shit fit if she found out I lived here. Ya, I know it looks bad, but it’s not like we’re dating. He’s not even my type.” Celeste started poring out the emotions and started crying a little.
Aislinn put her drink on the table and gently put her fingers under Celeste’s chin to turn her face towards hers. She softly touched Celeste’s cheek to wipe away a tear.
Neither woman knew who leaned in for the kiss first, but it happened. Aislinn kissed Celeste once, then once more. Celeste leaned into it and kissed her back. The two kissed softly for a couple minutes before it turned into a full-on makeout session. Aislinn savored Celeste’s taste and smell as her partner loosened up and let the feelings overtake her. Their hands roamed over each other’s backs. Aislinn slid her hands under Celeste’s tank top and felt her skin.
Celeste broke the kiss just long enough to finish her wine and pull her tank off. She grabbed Aislinn’s face with both hands and kissed her as she climbed on top of her. She then spent a moment fiddling with Aislinn’s jumpsuit before she broke the kiss again.
“C’mon.” Celeste stood, taking Aislinn’s hand and leading her to the bedroom.
Aislinn felt her heart flutter as she followed Celeste to the master bedroom. She could care less about who’s room this was right now, all she wanted was to be with this woman. They stopped right before climbing onto the bed and made out for a minute as they finished stripping each other before the pair fell into an embrace and landed on the bed. Aislinn took the initiative in exploring Celeste’s body, but her lover was more than willing to follow her lead. They spent a long time in foreplay before Aislinn’s hand made her way down to Celeste’s nether regions. Celeste jumped a little as Aislinn’s digits made their first intrusion into her and she let Aislinn finger her to an orgasm. Celeste returned the favor before adding her mouth to Aislinn’s sweet pussy. The two women licked and kissed each other’s sweet spots for what seemed like hours before they came to a stopping point, sweaty and exhausted.
As much as Aislinn wanted to stay in bed with Celeste the rest of the night, she did have to go home for work. She asked what Celeste was doing Friday and the two agreed to a dinner date. After another long embrace, Aislinn made her way home, floating on Cloud 9 the whole time.
After Aislinn left, Celeste sent a couple texts to Drew. She threw on some clothes and went outside for a smoke as she talked to Drew. She looked at the chat conversation from a couple hours earlier as Drew was in a panic that his sister-in-law was on her way over to his place… their place and she’d have to come up with something in a hurry. ‘I’ll just pretend I’m a lesbian. She shouldn’t get jealous over that.’ Celeste laughed as she read that text again. She had her ‘bi-phase’ in college but for the most part hadn’t explored that part of her for a long time. It wasn’t until Aislinn knocked on the door and the third glass of wine of the night kicked in that she did what she did. She could tell Aislinn was flirting with her, and she returned the favor. She couldn’t help it, Aislinn was very cute. And it was such a flimsy excuse for coming over, too. Celeste told herself that one thing led to another and she and Drew weren’t in anything official yet, just roommates and FWB’s that really, really care about each other.
“Is it cheating if you lez out to pretend to be gay?” Celeste said to no one in particular while finishing her ciggie as she tried to figure out what to tell Drew. She hadn’t seen him in a couple weeks and missed him, but finding out she fucked his sister-in-law might be too much right off the bat. Plus, she didn’t know what Aislinn would tell him. And of course there was the elephant in the room, how much would she tell Morgana? Aislinn is smart and would have to be blind to not know that she was sleeping in Drew’s bed, in his bedroom that is barely decorated. Drew said that he liked it that way since he didn’t want it to feel too much like home, but the reality is like most men he really doesn’t care about decorating his bedroom. Most men stopped decorating their bedrooms after they took down their posters of sports cars and lingerie models in their teens. She decided to tell Drew the partial truth in her texts.
‘Plan backfired, have a date with Aislinn on Friday.’ She hit send on the message.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Drew was in a panic on Wednesday morning as his phone buzzed during his morning workout. Aislinn was on her way to his bungalow in Melbourne where Celeste lived. He hoped that Celeste wasn’t home, but she was. After a little back and forth, she would play the ‘I’m his lesbian friend’ card. That might work, and Celeste could be very convincing when she wants to be. He was surprised as all hell when a couple hours later she texted back that the plan backfired and Celeste had a date with her on Friday. A little back and forth brought him down from a borderline violent rage to a simmering rage filled with jealousy and contempt. ‘How dare she?’ Drew thought, but wasn’t sure who he was more mad at, Aislinn or Celeste. When he pressed for details, Celeste admitted that she kissed Aislinn, then followed up with “What am I supposed to do? I’m pretending to be queer here.” It was times like these he wished that he had installed that nanny cam months ago. Then, he could take a peek in on Celeste from time to time. Plus, the thought of seeing Aislinn make out with his girlfriend was hot as fuck. He calmed down enough to admit that his jealousy was taking over, but he couldn’t get the thought of those two out of his system. He reluctantly agreed that if she had to go to some lengths to convince Aislinn that she was gay, he would be okay with it. Plus, he wasn’t sure how far Aislinn would go. She was pretty into Tommy before all hell broke loose up at the cabin. Still, he’d heard Morgy say that Aislinn was a little bi in university but just chalked that up to being young and horny.
The worry about what Aislinn might tell his wife was palpable. Morgana was working from home today, so he decided to pack things up and head home for the afternoon to surprise his wife then wrap up the day from his new home office. Morgana was surprised to see him, and even more surprised and thrilled when he took her to the bedroom and fucked her on their lunch break. She wasn’t sure what had gotten into him, but was glad to have a piece of the ‘old Drew’ back. As Morgana was freshening up in the bathroom, he checked her phone. Only one new message from Aislinn today. It said that she hadn’t been able to find out who Charles was, and it might take a while. He checked the previous few messages and they were mostly about Aislinn’s upcoming travel and this little favor she was doing.
He put the phone back where he found it and thought about that message for the rest of the afternoon. He now knew that Morgana had an inkling that he might be up to something. Charles was the name he saved Celeste’s number under. Aislinn is smart and cunning when she wants to be, and tracing a number is child’s play for her. He knew that Aislinn just spent the last few hours with Celeste and had asked her out on a date. There was no way that Aislinn didn’t put two and two together and figure out that Charles’s phone number belonged to Celeste. So why did she tell Morgana that she didn’t have anything yet and it might take a while? She could be trying to build her case, or blackmailing him might be the plan. Or, she was interested in Celeste for herself. If that was the case, did she know about Celeste and him? If so, did she care? He figured he could ask again in Aussie morning. It was the dead of the night now, and no one would respond.
Drew planned out his plan of attack. He’d text Aislinn, ask a few questions that wouldn’t volunteer anything, and wait to see what she brought up. Then, he’d try to FaceTime her, see if he could gauge anything from her reactions. But if he couldn’t get a hold of her before Monday, he’d see her when he landed in Melbourne.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Morgana was caught between a rock and a hard place. She was waiting for the chance to get a blood test drawn to find out if Drew was the father. The earliest she’d be able to go in would be a week from now, but he’d be out of the country. He’d offered to go to the doctor’s on Friday, and she took him out for shopping and dinner after. She focused on Drew, taking him to one of his favorite places, even if it was a BBQ place and her vegetarianism kept her from eating anything of note. She hoped this would help bring Drew out of his funk for the last couple weeks, as well as distract her from what was going on. Since Drew was leaving on Monday, she wanted to spend all of her time with him because she wouldn’t see him for almost a month. A lot can change in a month, especially early in a pregnancy. Plus, she’s up here alone aside from Tommy, and she’s barely talked to him in the past couple weeks. This is mostly because of Drew’s antipathy towards Tommy since that weekend up North. Each time Morgana’s wanted to get people together to hang out, Drew’s had an excuse against it. She was sick of not seeing Tommy and missed him, but knew that with Drew out of town soon she’d have all the time in the world for her secret lover.
What really ate at her was not telling Tommy yet about the pregnancy. She was 90% sure it was Drew’s, but there was the first time she was with Tommy and they didn’t use protection, a couple weeks after her IUD was taken out. But she just hoped that she’d get the answers back on the paternity test soon. She desperately wanted to tell Tommy to his face. So far the only person that knew outside of her and Drew was Aislinn, and that’s because she was around for the testing. And because there was a small chance it wasn’t Drew’s or even Tommy’s, she couldn’t enjoy this part of the process. She knew she wasn’t going to keep some rapist’s baby.
The other thing that frustrated her was that Aislinn hadn’t found anything on Charles. She knew her sister well enough to know that she probably didn’t do much if any research into this. ‘She might be the flightiest barrister in history.’ But at least it was better than finding out that Charles was actually a woman that Drew was seeing. She had tried to check out his phone recently and she tried a couple other options for his passcode but nothing was successful. Even the one time she did see most of his passcode it didn’t last since she either didn’t get it right or he changed it right away. She was certain she had it right, but could’ve been mistaken. He even signed out of iCloud on the iPad they shared, so no looking at messages or photos that way.
As she went through her thoughts, Morgana wondered a few things. Was Drew cheating on her? Was she projecting her guilt onto him? Did he suspect her of cheating? What did he know?
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Bianca and James spent some more time together during this time, even enjoying a date night that turned into a date brunch the weekend her ex had Sophie. Bianca did her best to put everything that happened at Lake Hiawatha behind them, and James showed a softer side to her that would shock most who knew him. Their big date night was a nice restaurant that James favored followed by night out at a Jazz bar. They returned to her home and spent the night there, followed by a Saturday brunch. They spent most of Saturday together too before getting back on Sunday for a bit before she picked up her kid. They wanted to play things slow as far as her daughter goes and if they were still dating in a few months, Bianca would introduce them.
Tuesday was great for Bianca. The trust was set up and all but $10,000 of it was deposited into a trust fund that was set up under an LLC in Delaware that reports to another LLC that is solely under Bianca’s control. The remaining 10 grand was split into 5 smaller checks to avoid IRS scrutiny and was planned for administrative expenses, but those came to less than a thousand. After the checks cleared Bianca paid a few bills and cleared out one of her credit cards. The rest was put into savings. She used part of it for a really good weekend with Sophie, taking her out on a girls-only shopping trip.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Tommy talked with Morgana a few times on WhatsApp during the time Drew was still in town while he counted down the days until he saw her again. To keep up appearances, he kept his Tinder profile up but only matched with one woman that he ended up ghosting for a date. He instead spent most of his free time either watching Morgana on the secure feed from her house or the various feeds and videos on the Club. He revisited his favorite lesbian college students, Jordan and Riley. They were still together though they did have the occasional spat, which made the makeup sex even more thrilling. Tommy did find something unusual when one of the neighbor boys kept coming over. He was a bit of a dork and seemed to be in a science class with Jordan, offering to tutor her and such. She played it off as nice as possible but still acted like she got bad vibes from him. One time when she was in the bathroom, he made a clay copy of her room key and was sly about covering his tracks. Tommy knew of this technique and was certain he was up to no good. He messaged Sam about it since he’s the owner of the building, but for the moment they couldn’t do anything about it.
Aside from that, Tommy’s week was relatively quiet until he got the invite to the Bake Sale from Pedro.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
From what Adam knew about what the cops knew about him and the Club, he knew they had to lay down low for a while. Still, he knew that people wanted to have some fun. This is when he decided that instead of the normal Club activities, it was time for a Bake Sale.
Running the Club is expensive, and his job as an IT Director for a police department doesn’t pay much. Sure, it covers the bills and his side business as a computer repairmen helps, but his investments took a hit recently. The server equipment, network connection, TOR and VPN services and other security all cost money he doesn’t always have. So when the Club needs to raise funds or have a get-together, they’ll host what he calls a Bake Sale. It’s an orgy where the main attraction is one or more unwilling women. Everyone pays an admission fee of a couple grand and they set up the event. Adam, aka Pedro picked the following Saturday as the night for the festivities. He asked the newly dubbed Really Useful Crew if they could take care of the logistics. Not only did he trust their ability to pull this off, but by having them on logistics then the target would be unknown to them, and thus they unknown to the targets. It also became a sort of wake for Ray. His friends from the Club couldn’t show up at his funeral, so this was the next best thing.
Sam and Bubbles were on board in a heartbeat. Steve followed up right away when he saw that he didn’t have his kids that weekend. JC was onboard, but asked if he could bring a friend he owed money to as a way of paying him back. After a quick background check, the friend was approved. James agreed after making sure that it was Bianca’s weekend with Sophie, and Joe and Mari cleared their calendars. The only member of the crew that was hesitant was Tommy, but that ended when he saw a member he wasn’t familiar with recommend the bait. She was a really hot Aussie blonde with equally hot friends. This unknown member gave the basics on her and her two friends. She was a tall blonde named Maddie, originally from Gold Coast, Australia. She had a damn near perfect build with great tits and an amazing ass that one could bounce a quarter off of. The only downside was her face didn’t quite match her body in hotness, but she was still good looking. With her were two other proposed women. One was a brunette who was slightly shorter at 5’9” and a model’s body, and the third was a middle eastern woman with big tits and a phat ass. The blonde was named Maddie, the brunette Erica, and the big-tittied Lebanese girl was Mia. They were friends that loved to party, and their favorite hangout was Blados. They would be there Saturday Night in the VIP Lounges until they found a better place or wound up in some rich dude’s penthouse. It didn’t take Pedro long to strike a deal with the owner of Blados, one of the most popular nightclubs in the city as he’s always been a friend of the Club.
The plan was put in motion. Joe and Mari would MC the event while Sam provided the location. Tommy and James would join this new friend on transport while Steve and JC would help with crowd control if any were needed. Bubbles and a friend of hers that tends bar there will spike the girls drinks after Bubbles makes some small talk. Tommy’s backup if she needs help in that category. They’ll get the girls to the destination and have some fun until the sun comes up, then drop them off at a no tell motel in Veneto. They’ll leave a bunch of drugs and shit in the room with them, so if they do try to call the cops, it’ll blow up in their face.

It had been a few months since Murph had logged onto the Club’s website. He’d been a member for a couple of years, ever since he left the police force. Well, ‘encouraged to take a medical retirement’ after that asshole detective busted up his shoulder in the interrogation room following his detainment for raping a woman being used to smuggle drugs. That led to his early retirement in lieu of prosecution, under the grounds that he never work as a police officer in the county ever again. An associate of his vouched for him to Pedro, and a month later he broke into the house of a big-tittied Italian Milf named Theresa. His schedule didn’t allow him to spend the time he’d like to on the Club’s site, but he always had a good time.
Recently the Boss’s Daughter was pissing him off. He was responsible for that cunt’s security most of the time she was in town, but anything at her condo or on the weekends was fair game as far as he was concerned. If something happened to her outside of his watch, he could blame her other handlers. He put together a packet for proposing her for a trade but wanted to see what was going on in the last few months.
What he saw shocked the shit out of him. First off, the site had a few new members since March. Four in particular were rather active. One was brought in by a mutual associate named Steve and was simply called ‘The Australian.’ His offering was a hot Asian woman in her 30’s to 40’s who looked a hell of a lot like one of his neighbors in the condo complex and he had some issues with an attack on a schoolteacher where the rubber broke and he had to go fishing. The next was a buddy of his nicknamed ‘Clark Kent.’ Dude looked like he was a disaster away from running into an alley and stripping down to red and blue underwear. His offering was this little ginger named Tammy and his first attack was a sleeping blonde named Morgana. ‘Hot Mama’ was Joe’s wife. Murph had met her before years ago after he worked with Joe on a mission and they showed up late at night where he had to lay it on smooth. She offered a cute woman in her 30’s and her and hubby had a fun time with a thicc Latina. Finally there was ‘Grammar Nazi’ or ‘Alt Write.’ He was vouched for by Joe and had a couple videos he’d starred in already. The first was a group attack on two college girls with a few other guys, and the next was one where 3 Club members went after this big dyke bitch but one of them was actually her girlfriend, Bubbles. He’s called Grammar Nazi because he’s reflexively correcting other’s speech, even doing so during rapes. Shit’s aggravating and funny at the same time. Apparently he and Bubbles are a thing now.
As Murph was looking into Grammar Nazi’s portfolio of work, he saw that all four of these people were tagged in an event called ‘Cabin Party.’ He opened it and saw the largest slew of videos on the Club outside of a bake sale. It was so big it had it’s own Wiki page giving the order of events and how the tapes broke down from source and location. Long story short, a group calling themselves the ‘Really Useful Crew’ pulled off a gangrape up at Lake Hiawatha Resorts. Clark Kent and The Australian orchestrated it with help from Bubbles, Grammar Nazi, Joe and Hot Mama, and two other members he had run-ins with in the past, JD and JC. JD was Jackhammer Dick for the way he’d fuck like he was punishing his victims for being women. JC was a skinny guy who looked like Jesus Christ. Assistance was given by someone close to LHR for the hidden cams and coordinating everything else. The plan was anything but simple, and the victims were 3 ladies and a bloke. One was a yank named Bianca Jones and the victims were Aussies named Drew and Morgana Williams and Aislinn Walker.
Murph froze when he read the names. Could it be that the sniveling little shit that just hired him to investigate his wife was involved in this? Drew described the attack in pretty graphic terms but never did Murph think that this could be a Club activity. And Bianca, that’s the wife that asshole Phil Jones kept harassing. He clicked on a couple screenshots of the videos. It was that hot blonde wife of Drew’s all right, and Phil’s ex. He checked out Clark Kent’s video list before diving into the Cabin Party and saw a compilation of videos of him and Morgana, taken from a hidden camera. There were several videos of Clark Kent, whom she called Tommy, fucking Drew’s wife.
Now, Murph faced an ethical dilemma. On one hand, he had an open and shut case of a wife cheating on her husband, and indisputable proof that he could use for a divorce and leave her with nothing. On the other hand, this proof was illegally gathered and found on an illicit website hosting tons of rape videos and enough criminal activity to last a lifetime. Plus, he also had footage of a target of his being used like a whore, which he could use to close out another one of his cases, and a statement from Drew about what everyone went through. He had the names, faces, and identities of everyone involved.
Murph decided to do what any good Christian would do in his place. He pressed play on the first video in the Cabin Party playlist, took down his pants, and jerked off like a caged monkey.
After watching for an hour and blowing a couple loads to Morgana’s sweet screams, he checked the news section of the Club. A member named Ray died recently, and his last video was uploaded as a tribute to his favorite hobby, raping bitches. Pedro proposed a Bake Sale in his honor, and was looking for ideas. Several members of the newly dubbed Really Useful Crew made some suggestions on logistics, but only a half-hearted offer of two college girls named Riley and Jordan were submitted, which Grammar Nazi said he’d prefer they didn’t use them unless he could find a way to get them outside of their apartment. Since Murph was thinking of offering Maddie Sanders anyway, he decided to up the ante for this party. There’s no way any of these guys will ever fuck a billionaire’s daughter, so might as well make it special. He also threw in her bff’s Erica and Mia as well. Plus, with all the craziness happening there, he’d get his dick wet in all three and they’d be none the wiser.
So that’s how Murph came to help out the Really Useful Crew on Saturday Night. He met up with James at a Denny’s in Empire and after a quick meal and catching up on things, they went out for the night.

Drew and Aislinn texted a couple times over the weekend before his trip back home and called Celeste whenever he could get away from Morgana. Celeste was rather open with him on what happened. Aislinn came over to drop off the thing, they talked and drank a little, she played the lesbian card thinking that would keep her from getting too suspicious as to why she was there. What she didn’t expect was for Aislinn to hit on her and the two of them to make out, and like it as much as she did. Drew felt threatened by this, but Celeste did a good job of convincing him that this worked out better for them. She’d go on a date with Aislinn, have some fun, see how serious his sister-in-law is about keeping up this appearance of being bi, then call it off with her when she moved to the states or went on her weekend trip. In a few days or a week or two at most, she’d be up in the states and he’d be back in her bed. Aislinn on the other hand was much more reserved about saying what happened. All he could do was take her word for it that it was only a kiss. He left the conversation with his sister-in-law feeling like she was hiding more than he was.
As he sat in his office following their conversation, he couldn’t help but wish to be a fly on the wall back home, back in Melbourne. Some of the highlights from the weekend of Hell was finally getting a chance to fuck Aislinn and have her suck his dick, and watching her dyke out a couple times, especially with Morgy. That was always a sick and dirty fantasy of his that he saved for cold, lonely nights. But picturing Aislinn and Celeste together made his dick hard enough to cut diamonds. He went through the house and found his wife moving some boxes around one of the spare bedrooms. He grabbed her, pulled her close and took her on the floor, not letting her get a word in edge wise. He didn’t last long and was in primal mode when he was done. They cuddled for a bit before he went back to his office and prepped for his trip.

Aislinn met up with Celeste at 8PM on Saturday at a nice place in Port Melbourne called Ciao Cielo. Aislinn wore a little black dress and gold heels while Celeste wore a slim grey dress and matching heels. Dinner was a split Margherita pizza with vegan cheese and appetizers of marinated olives and a duck liver parfait, of which only Celeste partook in the parfait. After a few cocktails, the women talked throughout the night until it was time to head out. An Uber ride later and they were back at Aislinn’s apartment where they explored each other’s bodies before eventually falling asleep. They stayed in for brekkie and Celeste returned home after that.
Both women agreed it was best not to tell Drew everything that happened as Aislinn dropped Celeste off at her place following a long embrace. They would try to see each other at least once more before Aislinn left for the States in a few weeks.
They also agreed on what they’d tell Drew. Aislinn was able to get Celeste to tell her that she sleeping with Drew, but at this point she didn’t really care. She took some perverse pleasure in making her cum and scream out her name, knowing that she’d be thinking of her and not Drew when she was making love to her cheating brother-in-law. Who knows, maybe she could even bend this around to her advantage, turn it into a chance to fuck Drew again or maybe have a threesome with him and Celeste. Or, she could enjoy the look of making Celeste hers instead of his. In the end the women agreed to say that it was a nice date and it ended with a couple kisses and not much else.
What Drew doesn’t know won’t hurt him.

It was a crazy night at the Bake Sale. Murph was tuckered out from a nice, long night of fucking. So far he’d blew a load up Maddie’s rich and entitled ass, another one in Erica’s obnoxious mouth, and a last one all over Mia’s massive tits. He sat and drank a beer as he caught up with James, and got to know Tommy. Turns out that James blocked his number a couple years ago when Murph kept bothering him about some stupid drama in their HOA. It took a couple beers to settle it out, and James was going to unblock his number when they got home. As they recharged late enough for it to be early, Murph told James about how much he knew and what he wanted to do going forward.
“Y’know that little pantywaist Drew told me everything about what happened up North?” Murph said between sips of his current beer.
“Why the fook would he do that?” James asked.
“He thinks ol’ Tommy boy here’s shtooping his wife. And he’s right. I saw enough video this week of you two lovebirds knocking boots to wrap this case up in 3 minutes, but I can’t use any of it.” Murph said, looking at Tommy as he said that last comment.
“Why’s that?” Tommy asked, sipping on a gatorade following his last facefucking of a trussed-up Maddie.
“It’s all Club shit. Too many questions. But I don’t want to break them up. I wanna have some fun of my own.”
“What do you mean?” Tommy asked, not sure he was liking where this was going.
“I want some fun with that perky blonde you’ve been fucking.” Murph said, causing James to laugh. “Don’t worry, I wanna fuck that big-tittied Bianca, too. Really want both at the same time.”
“WHAT?!” Tommy and James said in stereo.
“Don’t give me that look like I’m crazy. I’ll keep all Club shit out of the way. Drew’s hired me to track Morgana for the next month, and Bianca’s ex has had me on retainer for almost a year. I have next to nothing on her, but Drew let it slip that everyone from the Cabin got a large settlement as payment for what they went through. Phil’s looking for anything to use against Bianca to take the kid away so he doesn’t have to pay child support any more. Doesn’t give a fuck about her, just doesn’t want Bianca to have her. I think he’s a total prick which is why I have no problem taking his money. But Drew fucked up and told me she’s getting bank.”
“Murph, if you think-“
“Now hold on cowboy.” Murph said, cutting off James as Tommy sat there in stunned silence. “Here’s my plan. I’ve got a couple connections that can point me in the right direction of where the money went. I’m guessing she’s locked it away for college or something like that.”
“Something like that.” James said.
“What I do is confront her with some evidence of her hiding this money and what Phil wants to do to her. Similar thing with Morgana. I get some evidence of her doing some nasty stuff with Tommy, like going down on him in his car or going to a motel, and then I give them both a choice. I tell their husbands everything, or they spend one night with me and I make it all go away. They both know who I am and who I work for and what can happen if I talk to the wrong person. Pretty sure they’ll agree. Wanted to give you guys a heads up first.” Murph said, taking a sip of beer.
“So, you’re just askin’ permission to fuck our ladies?” James said, barely catching what he said until it left his mouth. This was the first he thought of anything serious with Bianca.
“When you put it like that, yeah. So what you guys say? I’d rather work with ya than against ya on this.”
James looked like he was thinking about smashing an old school ash tray over Murph’s head, but Tommy spoke up first.
“Do it, but do it quick. This can’t be months down the line. This has to be now, while Drew’s out of town on this break. He’s gone for 4-6 weeks, starting Monday. You’ve got until November to pull this off. After that, you won’t get a shot until next year, if at all. And I want to see it.” Tommy said.
“Well fuck, if he’s on board, guess I am too.” James said, dropping his head in disbelief.
“Great. A toast. I look forward to fucking your women.” Murph raised his beer. James clinked his beer to his and Tommy joined in with his gatorade.
Tommy figured this move out coldly and calmly. If Murph did this right, Morgana would know that Drew no longer trusted her, and this would push her further into his arms. Just like before, if hurting her a little meant that she would be his, he knew she’d be better for it in the long run.

Something hadn’t sat right with Deputy Aly Holmes for at least a week. Well, a lot of things didn’t sit right with her.
The first was Deputy Scott Jackson eating leftover Omaha Steaks for lunch each day for a week and getting himself a chest freezer. He’s a cheap son of a bitch who complains about leaving a tip at Harry’s and always moans about how broke he is, and suddenly he’s spending all this money on frozen meat?
Second, how things magically resolved themselves with that missing girl Maddie Kosar. Not only did she reappear, but her parents sold a large chunk of land to Bob for quite a discount. The sale price was far below market value and handled almost immediately.
The third and most important thing that didn’t sit right with her was the identity of the ‘bodies’ they found. The blood from the scene was mostly contaminated but it the lab said they had enough of a sample and with the the toe they identified the woman as Kono Rin. Interpol flagged her right away and reached out to her within 24 hours. She was a member of the Yakuza in Japan and fell off the grid months ago when there was a coup in her family which resulted in dozens dead. So what the fuck was she doing up here taking part in a gang rape of some random campers?
Aly knew there was something off with the crime scene, but she didn’t get the chance to go through it the way she wanted. It took her a couple weeks, but she finally made the time to visit Running Bear off hours when no one was there. No guests, no workers, no hunters, nothing. Just a cute woman wearing camping clothes and carrying a backpack. And her pistol, of course.
She walked the paths, replaying the events told to her by Bianca, Morgana, and Aislinn. They had a nice walk interrupted by Kono Rin, who called herself Kim. They didn’t mention an accent, which Aly found weird knowing who Rin was. Interpol said they had no proof that Kono spoke fluent English, and that most Yakuza consider it an insult to speak anything other than Japanese unless necessary. She walked back to the cabin, at least a kilometer. That’s a pretty long walk for an injured woman. When she arrived at the cabin, she saw signs that the cabin was under renovation and repairs for the next couple weeks. The place was taped off and quiet now, but when she peered through the windows she saw that all of the furniture was moved around and that repair crews worked inside.
Aly shook her head in disgust. Even if she could get in, everything changed. All of the evidence of the attack was gone. Hell, she could probably get enough hair and semen samples to nail Bob and all of the Bouchet Boys, but they could easily just as say that they’re part of the construction crew.
She was about to give up when she walked around the driveway one last time and saw something shiny and brass-colored on the ground, buried amongst the gravel. Aly bent down to inspect and was surprised at what she saw.
A spent 9mm casing. One single, solitary bullet.
Aly pulled out her phone and took pics of where she found it, then carefully bagged it in its own evidence bag. As she bagged it up, she recalled the part of the story where the fat man they called Not Dave #2 ran outside and fired off a round or two at the Bouchet Boys. She stood up and looked into the cabin. The living room and dining room looked out right towards this spot. This was where Morgana said she saw the fat man fall.
She went back to her notes from the case and the scene. There were no blood stains over here, no bullet holes in the wall. In fact, there were no blood stains found around the cabin. The closest blood was found across the creek where the ATV tracks started. That’s where they suspected the people were killed then moved elsewhere.
This changed her view on the case completely. Before, she suspected that Bob was involved in everything that happened up here. Now she knew for certain. The man and woman that were allegedly killed weren’t members of the Yakuza but someone else meant to misdirect, and that Not Dave #2 and Kim were just regular old Americans, not royalty in the Japanese Mafia. And this bullet could help prove it.
Aly might just have something here. If she could find a way to tie this bullet back to one of the assailants, she could identify the man and possibly find some ties back to Bob.
It was a slim chance, but a chance nonetheless.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

To Be Continued, eventually. The next part of the HCU to get posted will be Part 5 of Sam and Bubbles. This is the final chapter I wrote back in the RavU days. Anything after this point of Pharma is brand new.
Thank you so much for reading. It means the world to me.

Re: Pharma
Tommy does seem to have a gift for getting more and more rotten. Well I believe I am here for the ride and I am enjoying the story immensely.

Wow. The cliffhangers in this chapter is something else.
I agree with Geimnir. Tommy in this saga is the equivalent of Anakin Skywalker. Slowly but steadily his morals are eroded and he leans and later joins the dark side and guess what, I love it.
I’m not sure a remember this chapter from back in the day and you got me sitting on needles here. Keep the (new) chapters coming.

Re: Pharma
Thanks guys. Tommy is the epitome of "The path to Hell is paved with good intentions." Each time he thinks he's gone as far as he needs to go, he sees that he has t to go farther.
Murph... Murph gonna Murph in the future. He thinks he's some kind of planning genius but sometimes misses a step or two.
I think Chapter 89 wasn't posted but it was written a while ago. I just finished the first new chapter in a couple years, trying to get back in the groove. I've had to read, edit, and re-read a lot to get back in the swing of things.
Chapter 90 incoming.

It's a lazy Sunday evening for most, and several questions bubble to the surface...

Chapter 90(nosex,setup)
While Drew and Morgana had a tearful parting at the airport, it wasn’t more than an hour before she was messaging Tommy to meet up. She sat in her car in the driveway for what felt like an eternity trying to compose a message to her lover. Morgana broke down crying, alone and confused at the events of the last couple months.
Everything was going swell with her and Drew, even if they were a little lonely. Then they met Tommy and his boss James. The four became fast friends. Tommy became the best bloke a Shelia could ask for, but things didn’t stay as just friends. No, she slept with him. More than that, she’s had a full-blown affair with Tommy right under her hubby’s nose. Then she finds out her baby sister Aislinn is moving to the states, and she’s over the moon. She tried pawning her off to Tommy, hoping maybe something could blossom there. She still wants and loves Tommy, but if those two hit it off then maybe she’d find a guilt-free way out of this mess. And they did hit it off, banging like rabbits up at the cabin.
Then everything went to shit.
She went through the worst trauma of her life. She tried to count how many times she was raped, but each time she’d spiral into a panic attack. She tried to talk to her husband about it, but he was distant, and that hurt her. Drew was so focused on his pain that he couldn’t be there for her. He got off relatively unscathed. He had what, two dicks up his ass at most? Three if they counted that slant-eyed whore with the strap-on. Three. She had more than that on the first day. She was raped more times than she’d care to count, and what did Drew go through? He watched? He had to fuck some other women? He wasn’t the one who had to suck off every man in building. He didn’t have to fuck his little sister. He didn’t have to fuck his own dinner. He didn’t have a dog…
The last part made her wretch and the only thing that kept her from throwing up where she sat was the wherewithal to remember that this was a leased Mercedes and detailing it would be expensive. Morgana hopped out as fast as she could and cleared the car before losing her brekky in the driveway.
A moment later she went back to the car to grab her phone and head inside. It was only when she was certain she was clear of the security cameras facing the door that she even thought of saying anything.
“Oi, fookin’ Hell.” Her mouth tasted like vomit, which made her want to puke again. This time she made it to the bathroom before making a mess all over the floor.
As she cleaned herself and rinsed out her mouth, she thought about what she was going to do next. Morgana knew that she wanted to see Tommy more than anything, but had to think about how. Her new house had security cameras all around the perimeter and that it alerted whoever had the app setup to when someone came or went. Since it was just her and Drew, she originally had no reason to worry about it but if it wasn’t for Tommy alerting her about how much the app could do, Drew might not have told her. She had the app set up so she knew every time someone walked their dog past the house or a package arrived. Which means Drew knew as well. If she called Tommy to come over, Drew would see it from across the world and ask a ton of questions. She figured he was already suspicious about her and Tommy, so giving him that extra ammo wasn’t worth it. She thought about going to see him at his place, but realized that she’s never seen his apartment. Also, she wasn’t sure if Drew could see where she was using the Find My Phone thingy. It should alert her if someone tried finding her, but her trust was at an all-time low.
Just as she was about to open WhatsApp, a notification popped up. “Thanks for your Verizon Payment…”. This caused her pause, and she did that swipe up move to see past notifications. Sure enough, WhatsApp was in there. It didn’t show who messaged or why, just that she had a notification.
“AAAAAHHHHH!!!” The frustration was getting to her. A notification about a notification. This was useless garbage, but worst of all could give Drew cause for suspicion if he saw it. She spent too long trying to figure out how to fine tune the notifications on the app itself before just turning them off completely in the phone settings. As it stood, the only people who sent her messages there were Tommy and a couple mates who used Android instead of iPhone. Even then, it was used sparingly. While Morgana turned off notifications, she thought for a minute about how she could explain keeping it active. First off, no one would see her phone for a few weeks while Drew was out of town. It’s not like she had anyone looking at her phone over her shoulder or waiting to get into it. Aislinn wouldn’t be in town until the middle of the week at the earliest, and even then she’d be so worn out from work stuff and moving that she wouldn’t care what was on her phone. And even if anyone did see it, who doesn’t have WhatsApp nowadays? If anything she might save Tommy’s name under a different contact. It’s not like Drew didn’t already do that with whoever Charles really was. Just thinking about the hypocrisy made her mad. That’s when she decided to make a reminder for herself to deal with the WhatsApp notifications before Drew returned in a few weeks.
Morgana sent a message to Tommy, asking him to meet her when he was free. She sat around, anxiously waiting for a response. She wondered how long she should wait before messaging him again. It was already Sunday afternoon, less than an hour after Drew boarded his plane for Melbourne and she was already a nervous wreck. She tried to play it cool before she messaged Tommy again, the second time within an hour. The third message left her phone a little before 6PM as she panic cleaned her new home. She wondered if her app was broken by the time he sent a reply.
“Out and about today, won’t be back till later. Might be pretty late by then.”
She shook her head in frustration as she sent a reply asking him how his day went, but it just said that he was in some kind of Do Not Disturb mode.
“Fookin’ shite.” Morgana didn’t normally swear like that, but she couldn’t help herself. She checked the clock again. After 6PM in Harbor City, which meant it was about 8AM Monday back home.
Home.
It was the first time in a long time she thought of Australia as home. Probably because everyone was away or busy and she’s never felt so alone at a time when she needed someone.
Morgana spent the next hour texting a bunch of her friends. Bianca, Aislinn, James, and even more from back home. It was the start of the work week for them, and Bianca said she was busy with her daughter Sophie. James responded, but it was still awkward between the pair. The conversation died within a couple texts when James mentioned he was stepping into his car to get some grub.
It was Sunday night, and Morgana sobbed. She sat in a chair she didn’t like, in a room of a house she was afraid to be in by herself, completely alone for the first time in a long time.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Drew sat in Business class on his flight to LA before heading home to Melbourne, thinking over his life. The last month or two has flipped his life upside down. He went from being faithful to his wife without ever even thinking of another woman to cheating on her with his best mate from years ago to enduring the worst weekend of his life and realizing his wife had been cheating on him for a while. Now here he was, flying halfway across the world under some flimsy excuse to do some work that he could easily do from Harbor City just to clear his head. He wants things to go back to how they were a few months ago, but doesn’t know if that’s possible.
As he saw the Great Plains underneath him through the window of the plane, he tried to figure out when things between Morgana and Tommy could’ve started. He ruled out the first trip back in the summer. Morgy was absolutely ecstatic about seeing him and they had a great trip to D.C. Only thing that was weird was how quick she changed to wanting to buy a house. Upon return from the next trip she was gung-ho on getting knocked up. If she was cheating on him, she did it during that trip.
Drew went back through the group chat with Tommy and James. He was looking for any pattern to try to pin down when this happened. If this happened. The only thing he saw was a drop in the number of messages Tommy sent following the weekend that James celebrated finishing the building frame. There was also a slight shift in what he sent and replied to. He sent more memes than life updates and liked fewer of Morgy’s messages unless others reacted. But aside from that, he didn’t see any obvious changes.
It was thin. Damn near nonexistent. Drew knew that this wasn’t nearly enough evidence to accuse his wife of cheating on him. He would need something harder than suspicions about his bloke not liking a post about vegetarian lasagna.
He thought for a moment about whether he was imagining things. Then the memory of his wife screaming Tommy’s name as he fucked her just a meter or two away made him doubt his doubts. Then he started doubting the doubts of his doubts. Maybe Tommy was just really good at fucking his wife? That thought made him sick with jealousy. Either Tommy’s been fucking his wife for a while, or he’s got some magic cock. Maybe he could ask Aislinn who was a better fuck?
Drew chuckled at the dark humor. Of course it wouldn’t be the same, but knowing now that everyone has fucked everyone else in the group there should be a lot less secrets among the group. His thoughts wandered to Aislinn, how sexy she was, how beautiful she looked with his dick in her mouth, even though he couldn’t enjoy it at the time. As he thinks back about how great she looked as he fucked her, he realizes he has to shift his thoughts away from his sexy sister in law to avoid sporting a hard-on on the plane. But before that could happen, the thoughts slipped to Celeste and how she said she went on a date with Aislinn. He trusts that Celeste wouldn’t go too far, but the thought of his lover fucking Aislinn…
“Tax law, tax law, tax law.” Drew muttered under his breath as his mind wandered to Aislinn’s tight body, and how well she complimented Celeste’s body. He tried to focus on the minutia of international tax law and how deductions worked in the states vs home as the thought of a possible threesome with Aislinn and Celeste entered his mind. The thought made him harder than figuring out line item deductions for a multinational conglomerate. He thought about his schedule and realized he had enough of a layover in Los Angeles to justify getting a hotel for a few hours so he could satisfy these urges he felt about wanting to fuck Aislinn and Celeste. Drew spent a moment booking one of the hotels near the airport, then figured he’d have to contact the booking agent at Pharma about pushing his flight back a few hours. He hadn’t been a bother about international flight changes yet, and figured he had enough wiggle room for a reschedule or two. If he needs an excuse, he’ll just say that something wasn’t sitting right and he didn’t want to spend a 17 hour flight going to and from the toilet.
By the time he landed he had everything figured out. He’d send Morgy a text after he was settled and rubbed one out. No need to worry her yet. If he timed it right, it would be close to Midnight by the time she received his message.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Tommy was exhausted. By the time he got home from the Bake Sale, it was almost noon. He’d pulled an all-nighter and was sore all over. He lost count of how many times he fucked those women and put in a lot of work helping the rest of the Really Useful Crew getting those bitches and moving them to and from the party room.
Bitches. He must be tired to even think of using that term. He thought about those women. The nerdy but super hot Erica, the slutty big tittied Mia, and Maddy, the little rich girl. He was able to piece together that Murph had suggested these women, but wasn’t sure how he knew them. He was too tired to care.
As soon as he was back in his apartment, he locked the door and crashed on his bed. He didn’t move until after 6PM, and that was only to put his phone on Do Not Disturb. Tommy didn’t go through the messages, just put his phone down and went back to sleep.

Aislinn Walker dressed for work for the last time in Australia, possibly ever. She wore a smart business suit with a knee-length skirt for her final day in the office. At first she thought it was kind of dumb to have her last day be on a Monday instead of the previous Friday, but she wanted to say goodbye to a few friends who were out last week. Plus, Celeste gave her a naughty idea that she wanted to do ever since she found out about her and Drew.
Well, a couple naughty ideas. But the first requires access to Drew’s office.
She made sure that she looked great for her last day. She wanted to make sure that every man who saw her today would be thinking of her tonight. She wanted every woman jealous of her. She wanted all of their eyes on her, for just one more time before she left for good.
She only had a few more days before she’d leave town this weekend, and had planned on using this week to wrap things up. Since this was her big move to the states, she had more loose ends to wrap up before her trip on Friday. Aislinn would spend the next few days off taking care of logistics and a few other things if time allows. But first, she needs to head in to the office and say goodbye to her mates, and maybe cause a few awkward moments too.
As she was getting ready, her phone buzzed. Celeste sent a good morning text. She would miss her new lover, but they both knew this couldn’t last. What they were building was special, but trying to keep it going across the Pacific ocean just wouldn’t work. Just as Aislinn was about to send a reply, another message came in. It was from Morgana. The message had that slight hint of desperation and loneliness that she knew would end up with her stuck in some drama she didn’t want to deal with this morning.
Aislinn thought long and hard about responding to her sister. She tried doing the math real quick in her head. It must be evening there in Harbor City. She hovered her finger over the message to respond, but decided not to. Not only was she getting ready to leave, she knew she’d have to answer her sister’s questions about who Charles was. Aislinn really didn’t want to address that yet.
She ignored the message, telling herself that she’d respond around lunchtime. If she planned it right, by the time she’d respond back Morgy would be asleep. That would buy Aislinn a few more hours of peace. By that time, she’d find a little peace of her own at work.
Aislinn grabbed her bookbag for work, along with her purse. She checked inside, making sure her little “extra surprise” was packed away. A gift from Celeste for her to use in Drew’s office, if she could get in there…
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
The Bake Sale was a complete success. The event brought in over $50,000 after expenses, everyone worth a shit had a great time, the footage is uploaded and categorized, and those bitches kept their mouths shut. The hidden cam in the motel room let him know that they weren’t going to do or say anything right away. The one bitch Erica brought up calling the cops for a moment, but then Mia saw a note that told her to check the cabinets under the TV. There was enough cocaine and heroin under there to put all three of them in jail for decades. It didn’t matter how rich Maddy’s daddy was, this wouldn’t disappear overnight. All three of the girls decided to follow the instructions and call for an Uber out of Veneto and to anywhere else.
Adam Finnegan sat at his computer desk in his windowless office and metaphorically patted himself on the back for a job well done. He looked at the whiteboard he kept next to his desk and ran through all of the items on the list. He dared not keep any physical reminders of this night, and the digital footprint was already larger than he liked. All of the items were checked off.

The site and equipment were provided by Sam. They used one of his apartment buildings that was under renovation for the party. Murph suggested the sluts for use and Bubbles helped get them there, along with some help from Colin the bartender and a friend of the Club that owned one of the hottest bars in the city. Transportation was provided by JC and Dave. JC had a windowless white van that they could use for getting people to the party and Dave the Uber Driver got everyone around inconspicuously. Sam used some beds they had lying around, and Adam was able to get some AV equipment to Joe and Mari on the sly via some other Club members who own a small video production company. Cleanup was handled in two phases. First was getting the Club members free and clear before the no-questions-asked cleanup crew came in and stripped the place bare. They were paid handsomely to make it look like nothing happened, and helped themselves to what drugs remained as a tip. The members went to a hotel nearby and reunited with their smart devices. Bar tabs were run up on various credit cards throughout the night and cell phone activity was simulated to shake anyone off of their trail.
Ironically, getting the drugs was the easy part. Adam’s day job as the IT Director of Chester County Police Department put him in a unique position to access parts of the criminal justice system that most will never know. He could see which pieces of evidence were due for disposal, how to get them, and who was crooked enough to look the other way. He didn’t even have to steal any of it himself, just transpose a digit here or there on a form to have some amphetamines moved from storage to a hazardous waste facility, then that shipment intercepted and delivered to a nondescript drop ship location. Receipts were generated showing their destruction and logged in the system, meaning no one would ever look into them again.
He thought about trying to get rid of Ray’s phone the same way, but decided against it. Not only was it too soon to do so, but the phone Adam redirected them to look at was still part of an ongoing case. That case would officially be closed out in a month, which would allow Adam time to shuffle things around and get Ray’s phone out of evidence. He’s tried kicking off a remote wipe but the battery is too low for it to safely start up. If he tries to destroy it now, it’ll look too suspicious and he doesn’t want to give anyone a chance to look into his Club.
He looked at the clock in the corner of his screen. 7:23 PM. Aside from a small nap in the afternoon, Adam had been up since Saturday morning. He was glad he’d scheduled a day off tomorrow. He needed it after the weekend.
Adam took another look at the whiteboard, then wiped it clean. The only evidence outside of his control that anything happened this weekend was either flying to Melbourne or curled up in some apartment on Main Shore. Now all he had to do was launder $50,000 from the various Venmo transaction as services for clients for his companies and he’d have the Club’s bills paid for a year.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
It was dusk in Harbor City on a Sunday night in September. The sun was setting, the air turning crisp, and the streetlights were coming on in Deutschtown Park. A young couple walks hand in hand down a path past a younger looking woman holding her phone horizontally sitting on a park bench. Her long brown hair is pulled back into a ponytail as her “Humdinger Hornets” Green and Yellow hoodie engulfs her body. Her AirPods make her look like she’s lost in some video on her phone. It’s only upon closer inspection that the phone is actually the camera from a drone.
Carly Graspper has been in the park for a couple hours, doing the same thing the whole time: trying to find out more about 1014 Bismarck Street. She’s gathered what she can about it from public records and driving past. It’s a red brick square building on what 60 years ago was a major artery of the Duetschtown neighborhood but is now mostly cut off from the rest of the town thanks to the Parkway splitting it off from the rest of the town. Most of the area has run down but a few buildings remain. 1014 is a nondescript red brick square building with a storefront for a computer repair shop on the ground floor. It’s three stories tall and takes up a small footprint on the street but since the neighbors on both sides were leveled years ago, the building stands like an ugly spire in the blight. There’s a handful of windows around the front and sides on the second and third floor. Where the fire escape should be is a bricked-over door, the red just slightly different than the rest of the brick. A standalone 2-bay garage sits on the back end of the lot . At one point it was an apartment building with half a dozen units and a market on the first floor. Today, only one resident is listed, and he’s the owner.
Adam Finnegan.
Carly’s research showed that Adam bought this property in the late 1990’s for a song and dance. The property was slated for demolition but he restored it over the next few years. At some point in the mid-00’s he removed the need for the multiple mailboxes and converted the building to a single residence on top of the computer repair store that he also owned called Bismarck Street Computers. Tax records showed that the store usually operated at a loss, but not so bad as to justify closing it. Nor so bad that it would make no sense to keep it open. Around that time he also started a web hosting company that was also located at the same address, and that seemed to be his main cash cow. Not enough to live high off the hog, but enough that combined with his salary and some savvy investments Adam has built himself a bit of a nest egg.
Adam has never married, has next to know social media presence, and is by all means a loner. He’s friendly enough at work for an IT guy, but generally stays to himself. He has a Facebook profile that is used exclusively for Marketplace, usually buying and selling computer equipment and promoting his business. He drives an old beater Camry that is probably older than she is.
From the outside, he looks like a lonely IT nerd who needs to touch grass.
So, why is she being so sneaky to check out his property that she has to resort to flying drones at the limit of their range? Because he has cameras out the ass around this place. She noticed it when she drove past the other day. Those ugly modern white globes slapped all around. Any chance of her sneaking up on him to surprise him at home vanished. Now, she’s using her drone to get a sense of how well covered Adam’s home really is. So far she’s identified no less than a dozen cameras around his house and 6 more around his garage. That doesn’t include the 8 foot tall fence she could only see after getting in closer with the drone, nor the sensors on every window, door, and breakable surface of the building. She chalked this up originally to paranoia. Here he was, a single, fat, middle-aged white guy living in a blighted section of the hood with no one around him aside from other deserted buildings, vacant lots, and a half-hearted attempt to revive the street that has stalled out in city council for years.
But something else just felt off for Carly. It took her most of the day to figure it out, and wasn’t until the temperature dropped that she noticed it. He’s running industrial strength air conditioners at full power. She switched the drones over to infrared to see that the upper floor is running much hotter than other parts of the building. One room in particular was 20 degrees hotter than the others. Either he’s running a kiln or glassblowing business, or he has a fully decked out server room. Considering the web hosting business at this address, this was his server room. Carly remembered one time overhearing someone say that being in a server room was torture. It was both too hot and too cold at once, loud fans running all the time, and enough cables to trip over one self constantly. According to his tax records he only hosted a few websites, mostly niche blogs and local businesses that weren’t too tech heavy.
So why all the airco?
Why all the security?
Why live as a white guy in the middle of the hood in a section of town known for being rough when he could easily afford to live elsewhere?
Something nagged at the back of Carly’s mind as the sun dropped lower in the sky. She wouldn’t have long until she needed to pack up and head home herself. She didn’t live too far from the park, so it was a quick walk to her studio apartment. She knew that she was being slightly hypocritical about calling Deutschtown the hood while she lived there too, but there were some key differences. She lived in one of the newer loft buildings that was renovated a few years back in a gentrified part of town with vegan bakeries and coffee shops a’plenty. Adam lived in a part of town that was cut off from almost all foot and car traffic and that even the crackheads didn’t like going to. Worst she’d expect on the short walk home was some busker playing a poorly tuned guitar begging for change. Adam lived in a place where having enough security to run a prison still might not be enough of a deterrent. And that was just what she saw, not nearly what he likely has.
Carly recalled the drone and packed it up as she made the walk home, doing some math in her head. 20 visible cameras give or take, all from brands she didn’t recognize off the top of her head. A couple searches through Google and Claude showed they were likely part of a Ubiquiti home system. These were professional grade cameras. At a conservative guess of $250 per camera, that’s still $5,000 just in cameras. That doesn’t include any on the inside of the repair shop nor the window sensors, nor the hardware they needed to connect to. She wasn’t in computer crimes but dealing with SVU has taught her a little bit about computers due to the nature of what they often investigate. This wasn’t an off-the-shelf system, and Adam wasn’t the kind of nerd to hire someone to build a security system for him. He’s mentioned more than once how much he hates how the world of tech has been enshitified by greedy companies sucking customers dry for subscription fees. She was certain he would not pay for any recurring cloud storage except as an emergency backup, let alone trust this much security to a complete stranger. That many cameras meant wire runs, cabling, and a beefy router in a server rack. That also meant data storage, and lots of it. Then there was the window sensors that she could see from her fly-bys and zoom ins which required even more cabling and routing.
A little back and forth with Claude and she had a figure.
$30,000.
30 grand for a security system for a computer repair business in the ass end of the ghetto. He had no neighbors either next to him, behind him, or across the street. He had clear lines of sight everywhere and no blind spots around him. He never talked about any hobbies like collecting classic cars or being a gun nut. He’s never mentioned a girlfriend, boyfriend or anything like that. He doesn’t even have a dog or a cat. He likes tech for tech purposes, but isn’t obsessed with smart everything.
So why does Adam Finnegan, the IT Director for the Chester County Police Department, have a $30,000 security system? Is this his hardened compound? What is he trying to keep out? What is he protecting?

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Re: Pharma
The noose is getting tighter for Adam and the club, I’m curious of what will happen in the next few chapters. Chapters I hope will not take to long.
Extra plus to LtB for incorporating the “bake sale”. Not only for being a favorite but also for writing a little bit of what happened after.
All in all, a fantastic storyline and good chapter. Keep up the good work LtB

Chapter 91(nosex,setup)
“I’m surrounded by idiots. Complete and total fucking morons.” Morgana said the quiet part out loud as she looked at the incoming work with disgust. Whoever authorized this work while she was on vacation didn’t know what they were doing, and they hid it from her while she was working from home. The audit trail for a new cancer medication was completely and totally botched and several months of samples would have to be re-pulled and re-checked, all because two coworkers couldn’t be bothered to ask her over Teams how to do this.
This wasn’t the first time she’s been ready to choke someone in her department. Mitch is an idiot party boy with an inflated sense of ego, Sharee Kendall cares more about getting her nails done than the work done on time, and Wilhelma is so slow and meticulous that no one ever asks for her advice or help because they know she’ll go all German on them and point out the 85 things they’ve done wrong. Then there was Wendy Lake and Sydney Shurmur. If those two could perform an audit as well as they gossiped, Morgana’s work life would be easy. Instead, because the monumental fuckup of the entire team she’d have to spend the next three weeks unfucking Project Clarkson so that maybe they’ll have something viable for the next round of research funding.
But work wasn’t the only reason she was angry. No, not even close.
First there was Drew. Her husband texted late and said that he had to deal with some customs delays and decided to layover in Los Angeles for the night and would catch a flight around 2AM local time. No calls, no goodnight messages, just that message that didn’t come in until after Midnight.
Then there was Aislinn. Different situation, same story. She didn’t text back until early AM for her. Her little sister apologized for not responding earlier, but it was her last day in the office and she was exhausted and worn out. All she wanted to do was get home, smoke up, and veg out before she spent the last of her time in Australia running around like a chicken with her head cut off. Morgana responded when she saw the text, but was still pissed.
Finally there was Tommy. He didn’t get back until lunchtime, and by then he said he was buried in work until tomorrow after work. They agreed to meet up Thursday night, but couldn’t figure out where. Tommy suggested just putting it in the group chat about getting some dinner, but she declined at first. She said she really needed to see him in person soon but after going back and forth she knew they’d need a cover story, so she’d ask if him and James wanted to get something to eat, knowing James wanted nothing to do with it.
The three closest people to her in her life, and all three kept her at arm’s length. They’ve been through too much together to try to act like nothing happened and would need to talk about it, but that could expose her secret affair.
Affair. There’s that word again. The one that might permanently destroy her relationship with Bianca. It’s why she had to keep the pregnancy test results to herself. She knew it was way too early to say anything, but telling Bianca that a big reason she wanted to wait was to find out who the father was, well, Bianca’s not an idiot and she’d realize real quick that Morgana was cheating on Drew with Tommy. She needed to keep that under wraps.
She had too much on her plate. She started sobbing, just moments after screaming. She knew that the baby was causing her to be a hormonal mess, but she would have to put on a braver face than this. She wiped her eyes than thought of something.
Morgana rooted through her purse, looking for that card that deputy gave her up at the cabin.
“Dr. Michelle Barrett-Zelensky, LCSW. Trauma & Recovery Therapist”
She loaded up the work on the computer and checked out the good doctor’s website before scheduling an appointment.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
“I’m surrounded by idiots. Complete and total fucking morons.” Deputy Aly Holmes said the quiet part out loud when looking at the morning’s SitRep, causing her to slap the report on her desk. She couldn’t believe the audacity of what she read. Not only was there no desire from the county to investigate the gang rape at the cabin weeks earlier, but they declined to look into a double homicide as well. And in the blotter, there’s a request for security this weekend for a fundraiser for the District Attorney at LHR’s main ballroom. Then, as if the corruption wasn’t enough, one of the other Deputies signed off on a report about the toe from Jane Doe that came in from Interpol positively identifying her as Kono Rin, a member of the Yakuza.
“AAAAHHHH!!!” She screamed in rage and frustration, wondering why, how, anyone can be this fucking stupid. She looked around the rest of the office to the other Deputies on staff.
“No, not stupid.” She told herself. Corrupt. She kept that part quiet because openly accusing her coworkers of being on the take was a quick way to end up at the bottom of the lake.
Aly ran through the roster in her mind. 20 officers of the peace. Sheriff Ryland Holmes and 19 deputies covering nearly all of Hiawatha County. Now that K9’s Scott Jackson was eating Omaha Steaks on the regular, she was convinced that she might be the only one on the roster who hasn’t taken a bribe from Bob Kuntzmann. Even her uncle might not be perfectly clean. He has a blind spot when it comes to Bob. She knew what happened after she was kidnapped and abused by members of First Union Holy Church. What was his name? Bufford or something like that. One night they got drunk and Ryland told her the whole story. The old Sheriff thought it would be a good idea to have his Deputy’s niece raped and threatened to have her killed if he didn’t play ball. After she was rescued, Ryland went to Bob and struck a deal. Since they had a mutual enemy, they worked together. Bufford was ambushed in a car accident, beaten to within an inch of his life, then taken to the lake. They loaded the old Sheriff onto Bob’s boat and keel-hauled him, then drove around the lake for an hour until they were absolutely sure he was dead. They left him in the middle of the lake and he washed up on shore a day or two later. The newly promoted Sheriff Ryland Holmes wrote it off as a boating accident.
She pulled out her phone and navigated to a hidden note called “Assholes who can’t park”. After going through the first section of license plates she looked at the names of her coworkers and how their behavior changed following a case involving Bob. Deputy Hansen got himself an F-250 after Bob’s chef was cleared of a sexual assault. Deputy Terry went from struggling to pay his child support to paying for his kid’s traveling basketball team after a drug investigation into Bob’s little henchman Pete went belly-up. Deputy Mike paid for that new in-ground pool after Bob’s fixer asked him for a favor one weekend. Aly added Deputy Scott Jackson from K9 on the list, putting his new Omaha Steaks subscription and some suddenly-paid bills on there along with all the shit that just happened.
Something felt off as she wrote down just how batshit insane everything was. Deputy Scott was getting a nice payout from Bob. He was the one that found the toe. Aly’s spidey sense tingled at the connection that one of Bob’s people planted the toe for Scott and his dog to find.
Aly grabbed the report from the crime lab about the toe, along with what Interpol sent. The toe was the only piece of the body they found, along with some blood samples. Most of the blood was unusable but they found enough to match it to the toe. The toe, the left pinky toe, appeared to have been sheared off. While it was possible that this was done by an animal, it was more likely to have been cut off. But there was something else off which Aly noticed as she studied the photos.
If this was Kono’s left toe, why was it found in her right shoe?
“Complete and total fucking idiots.” She caught herself saying again, a little too quickly. Fortunately everyone else had decided to ignore her. She was used to that. She preferred it, actually. That let her get her work done in peace.
While it is possible that she just threw her shoes on at the last moment, or someone else dressed her, this didn’t line up with her witness statements. The Asian woman, Kono Rin, was dragged out of the house completely naked by this point. Maybe the shoes were on? She checked her notes for the cabin attack, and unfortunately they weren’t conclusive. That skinny girl Ashlyn or Ashley, no Aislinn, said she was completely naked but her sister the blonde said she still had her shoes on.
But who was Kono Rin?
Aly Holmes finally looked at the Interpol report. She was wanted by Japanese authorities for various crimes related to being part of the Kono crime family. She was connected to everything from Murder to Drugs to Prostitution to Fraud. She was also one of the deadliest women with a sword and raised to believe in Japanese superiority. Her body was covered in tattoos, but the descriptions of Kono’s time in the cabin didn’t match Kono’s photos from an arrest a few years ago. She returned to the notes again. No mention of a giant dragon backpiece or scenes from feudal Japan or the Hannya demon masks. All of the tats from the notes said they looked like cheap pieces one would get while drunk in Vegas, not a nagasode from one of the best artists in the world. And there was something else in the notes that struck her. One of the victims claimed that Kono was screaming out in Korean, not Japanese. And that she spoke fluent, native English the whole weekend. Not only does the Interpol report not list any foreign languages that she was known to speak, but it pointed out that she refused to speak anything other than Japanese when in other’s company. She understood a little English per some reports but the few times she tried speaking it in private it was greatly stilted.
Aly looked at the mugshot from a couple years earlier of Kono Rin. As she did, it all clicked together.
Someone else was killed. There was enough of a mess to imply that someone was murdered. Two someone’s in fact, a man and a woman. The woman was identified as Kono Rin, a former head of the Yakuza. Why would a Yakuza boss be in Lake Hiawatha of all places taking place in a gang rape, only to let herself be caught by a bunch of rednecks?
Because that woman was not Kono Rin. She was someone else, and a woman was murdered and her death was passed off as someone so dangerous that it will almost certainly bring attention from the Land of the Rising Sun.
The why was easy for Aly to figure out. Bob’s brothers from another mother, Paul and Gary. They were a myth of sorts in these parts. They show up, crazy shit happens, then they disappear for years at a time. They were involved in the Natalie Daniels case years ago, a few other instances of crazy violence, and now this. Bob wouldn’t stick his dick in this level of crazy unless his brothers were in it first. Bob’s a murderous, rampaging, rapist, drug dealing asshole, but he thinks twice before doing anything this nuts.
Aly knew exactly what she’d do if her hands weren’t tied. She’d drive down to Harbor City, pay the Williams’s a visit in their new home, and show them Kono Rin’s photo. They’d say this wasn’t their rapist, and then would go looking for whomever that really was.
Assuming she wasn’t bear shit already.
That gave Aly pause. Would Bob and the Bouchet Boys kill the Asian woman? Could they? Definitely. But this wasn’t their style. They wouldn’t kill some piece of ‘primo pussy’ as they’d put it right away. No, they’d fuck her senseless for weeks straight, get her hooked on drugs, pimp her out, then kill her when she wasn’t worth the hassle. Killing her right away didn’t feel like their playbook. She would need more to go with.
Aly thought about the bullet casing she found yesterday. It was a 9mm, consistent with the types of guns the attackers used at the cabin before the Bouchet Boys showed up. At least, as best as she could surmise. 9mm was the most common bullet size for handguns nowadays, so this could’ve come from anyone. But what if it did come from the fat guy?
19 Deputies. 18 of them on the take. If Bob could buy an entire police force, who knows how much of the crime lab he owns. She’d have too many questions to answer about where she got this bullet, why it wasn’t included in other work surrounding this case, and why was she chasing this when the DA already spiked the case. It likely didn’t match anything, but on the slight chance it did match someone and pointed to the identity of the fat guy, they’d have no choice but to reopen everything. Which would bring a world of hurt down on her head. Being the Sheriff’s Niece won’t protect her at that point. If Bob was willing to go this far just to cover up what already happened, what’s another body or two about the ‘nosy bitch’ deputy?
Bob was too powerful in Hiawatha County. But he had no allies down in Chester County. She at least had a friend down there, and that friend hated Bob even more than she did.
Aly found her mentor’s contact in her phone and sent a quick message.
“I’m coming down later this week. Need to borrow some tools. I’ll explain when I get there.”

“I’m surrounded by idiots. Complete and total fucking morons.” The blonde woman standing just a couple rows in front of Drew was really getting on his nerves. The plane was already delayed by a couple hours due to a maintenance issue. Something vague about a flight system not working, but when Drew saw a crew board and fix the shitter, he had a pretty good clue about what was broken. 16+ hours on a plane with a broken toilet is no way to fly.
“Ma’am, please return to your seat, we’ll be taking off in a few minutes.” A flight attendant said to the blonde. The attendant was much shorter than the blonde, and holding back all of her frustrations as this other woman continued yelling.
“I would if it was the seat I paid for. I paid for a window seat. This is an aisle seat. I specifically asked for, was booked, and paid for a window seat.” The blonde was on the verge of tears as she continued screaming. Another member of the crew approached, and Drew noticed something in how the blonde moved.
She wasn’t your typical neighborhood Karen trying to talk to the manager. She was genuinely afraid of something.
Drew checked his watch. 12:45 AM Los Angeles time. Which was 3:45 Harbor City. And Monday afternoon back in Melbourne. He’d arrive around lunchtime Tuesday. If they could get off the ground.
The scene was getting worse for the lady. A third member of the crew approached, and it looked like they were about 10 seconds from kicking her off the plane.
He examined her once again. She was blonde, tall, good looking, and dressed like money but something was off. Her clothes were designer but wrinkled. The dress was one of those mid-thigh black ones that Morgy liked to drool over. It was made for a night out at a fancy restaurant if he had to guess but looked like she threw it on a few minutes earlier. She wore heels that made her tower over everyone, but her body language told him she was hurt bad recently. She looked disheveled. He noticed she wasn’t wearing any makeup, which he figured wasn’t normal for her either.
Drew unbuckled his seatbelt and approached the front of the plane, slowly. One of the staff started to stop him. Drew had his hands up, in the universal sign of “I’m not starting any shit.”
“Sir, return to your seat.” The flight attendant said to him.
“Excuse me.” His voice caught the blonde off guard, and she whipped around, startled at his arrival. Before she could scream, he continued calmly. “I couldn’t help but overhear you had a booking issue with the seat. Correct?”
“Yeah.” She said, arms crossed in front of her. Tears were forming in her eyes already. She was about to lose it, and this was his only chance to salvage the situation.
“I’m right back there, three rows back along the window. Would you be willing to trade seats-“ Drew didn’t finish the sentence before the blonde leapt at him. At first he thought she was going to attack him, but instead she hugged him.
“Thank you, thank you. You don’t know how much this means.” She broke the hug, tears flowing down her cheeks. The staff was just as confused as Drew was.
“Great. Let’s swap our stuff and get ready to fly.” Before the staff could agree or disagree, the blonde was already following Drew to his seat, a designer tote bag around her shoulder. Drew noticed it. “Want to grab the rest of your stuff?”
“This is all I packed.” The blonde said.
Drew stood a little shocked. This whole scene made less and less sense as it carried out. She’s wearing clothes she grabbed from a tote bag that almost certainly was an overnight bag, not one for international travel. There’s traveling light, and then there’s whatever she’s doing here. He grabbed his laptop bag, neck pillow, phone, and iPad with him.
“I’m Maddy.” She put her hand out to shake his.
“Drew. Nice to meet you.” They shook awkwardly as he tried to handle all of his stuff without dropping it. She barely noticed he struggled to balance it all in his arms. He finally got a good look at her now that she wasn’t going full Karen. She was pretty, with blonde hair, blue eyes, a sharp nose and cheeks. Maddy was also tall, too. She was as tall as he was at around 1.9 meters, and had a killer body. If he were single… He pushed the thought out of his mind. “If you need anything, I’ll be right up there.” He said with a soft smile as he squeezed past her in the aisle. He tried not to brush up against her, but was glad she didn’t freak out when he did.
As he set up his stuff in his new seat, he looked back to Maddy a couple times. She was already lost in thought staring out the window. He looked to the man in the seating area next to him. He was older, probably in his 50’s or 60’s.
“Women, am I right? Can’t ever be happy.”
Drew shook his head as he said under his breath “This is going to be a long flight.”

“I’m surrounded by idiots. Complete and total fucking morons.” James screamed at no one in particular on the job site, walking like a man who chose violence this morning. He stopped at one of the sparkies wiring up the fifth floor. “You, where’s your fookin’ boss? You know, the one who looks like his parents were brother and sister. Where the fook is he?” The electrician pointed to a group of men standing around down the corridor. James made a bee line for the gaggle standing around talking. “Oi, Mongoloid!”
The group looked around at each other. Off in the short distance, Tommy stood with some of his buddies from the construction crew, Manny, Zeke, and Javier. They each saw the coming fight, and pulled out their phones.
“James Bingo?” Manny said.
“Yeah.” Zeke replied. Each of the men pulled up a picture of a bingo card.
“Hey, is mongoloid racist?” Tommy asked.
“No, that’s retard.” Javier said.
“Feels racist.” Tommy said.
James screamed at the sales rep for the electrical vendors. “Mongoloid is you. How in the fook did you manage to fook this up? Where the fook is the high voltage crew? They were s’posed to be here this morning workin’ on wiring for the panels!”
“Dude doesn’t look Chinese.” Manny said.
“I guess.” Tommy said.
“Got a good spot for racist?” Manny asked.
“Yep, corner square.”
The man said something, but no one could hear it. “Maybe if you’d give half a twat ‘bout doin’ this job the right way and pull yer head outta yer arse, you could find the fooks I give ‘bout yer HR complaints.”
Each of the men checked the box labeled ‘Anatomically Impossible Event’.
“C’mon, gimme a threat involving a power tool.” Javier said
“You still hung up on that?” Manny asked. “You’ve needed that for like 3 fights.”
“Gotta be due any day now.” Javier replied.
The onlookers watched the man say something to James, who looked like he was ready to kill him. “GET. A. SPARKY. UP. HERE. NOW.” James said through clenched teeth. The man said something and left, shaking in fear.
The crew looked at their cards. ‘Murderously Calm’ was just what Javier needed.
“BINGO!” Javier exclaimed. The other guys groaned in disappointment until they saw James glare at them.
“Scatter.” Tommy said, causing the crew to scatter in laughter.
James waited until everyone cleared the area before he busted out laughing.

“I’m surrounded by idiots. Complete and total fucking morons.” Adam Finnegan said, making sure he was muted for this Zoom call. He was glad that he had his own office in the precinct with a door that closed and locked. That way he could let his thoughts fly from his mouth without having to sugarcoat it. Even the woman sitting across the office from him at the second table wearing her headphones didn’t hear him.
Today’s meeting was a post mortem following the ransomware attack from a couple weeks earlier. It was a Zoom call with most of the IT leaders from the various police departments in Chester County. After Harbor City PD was attacked, Adam was able to organize this meeting to go over what happened, how to prevent it again, and try to get everyone on the same page. It’s hard to have a disaster recovery plan when everyone has a different definition of disaster. He asked that every department give a basic overview of their logging procedures, their defense posture, their backup processes, and how they restore and recover. It was a tall ask, but he figured everyone should have this information on hand and the meeting was a solid two weeks after the attack.
Out of the nearly 40 departments invited, only 15 gave him any information. Most of that was incomplete. 22 more didn’t give him anything, and 3 skipped the mandatory meeting altogether. It felt like no one wanted to stick to the agenda and the meeting quickly snowballed into a blame game instead of trying to solve an existential problem.
He looked over participants with a mix of emotions. Out of the 90 or so people on the call, he recognized all but a handful. City had each precinct IT Lead on the call, along with City’s IT Director and Senior Security Manager. Most departments had just their IT Manager on the call, or whatever they were called. Each department was different. It also meant the skill level varied wildly. Some townships had a full staff, others had one old guy who was “good with computers” back in the 80’s and stuck around. There were a few officers here and there that likely pulled double duty, and a few vendors for the towns that outsourced their IT departments. He saw that one of those companies was Red Briar Security, and representing them on the call for Westview PD were none other than Steven Wilcox and Jonathan Crenshaw.
There were a couple non-IT people on the call as well. Most were from City’s management, so Adam wasn’t familiar with them. The only other people on the call from County were one of his assistants and Detective Carly Graspper. The same Carly who sat across the office from him now in a dark blue suit and lighter blue blouse. Captain Jenkins couldn’t make the meeting so she asked Carly to join since she was the only detective she could delegate this to that would understand half of the call.
Officially, Adam hated how this meeting was handled. All of the finger pointing and arguing kept anyone from developing a coherent plan to solve this crisis. And each time he spoke up to defend the decisions made by City that day, he looked like he was trying to protect a friend or kissing someone’s ass.
Unofficially, it was the best case scenario for his Club. He now had updated schematics for the larger police department in Chester County, and the ones that didn’t send anything were too small to have any sophisticated security. His reticence to throw his colleagues under the bus implied loyalty, not self-preservation. He could’ve easily blamed everything on City’s poor procedures, but didn’t. That will buy him some sympathy from the other nerds who understand what they each go through. And now his friends in City owe him big time.
The ironic thing is, out of everyone on the call, the best suggestions came from two Club members, Steve and JC. They had a set of procedures in place that could be implemented across the board within a week, but will get rejected due to dumb politics.
Adam saw the time. It was 10:58 AM. This call was ending in a minute. Thank God for that. He unmuted his line.
“If we’re all in agreement, let’s take this offline. We won’t solve this in 2 months, let alone 2 minutes. Thanks everyone for joining. If you want to be part of the committee, message or email me. Have a good day.” Adam dropped the call as everyone else followed. “Fucking morons.” He said to no one in particular, but then turned to Carly after she took out her AirPods. “You catch that?”
Carly shook her head, partly to show her lack of understanding and partly to stretch her neck and shoulders. Adam tried not to notice her long, curly brown hair as it waved back and forth.
“Some, but not much. Caught up as we went along. Are they really all that dysfunctional?”
“Yes. Well… Yes. What stuck out the most?”
Carly thought for a second. “How different each department is. I mean, you’ve got City, you’ve got us. We could handle a major attack and we have staffs big enough to handle a problem. Then you’ve got little ones that are basically one or two guys, or others that outsourced. Looks like a logistical nightmare.”
Adam did a little quick chuckle to himself. “Yep. We’ve got like 40 police departments in the county. Maybe 3 or 4 of them are up to my standards for security. Some of these places just don’t have the manpower, others don’t have the will or knowledge. Hell, you have places like Murray Township where Oscar’s idea of security is deadbolting the server room when he’s not in. Or Rich from Cascadia who’s so worried about wireless attack vectors he disabled the precinct’s WiFi for months and only turned it back on after he forgot to turn it back on for a council meeting. Then you’ve got Westview PD who’d rather outsource the nitty gritty than do it themselves. This is great as long as the company is available for an emergency. But the difficulty isn’t in getting them all to agree to fix their shit.”
“It’s getting them to agree to someone else’s plan in the first place.” Carly said.
Adam nodded, impressed with the young woman. “Exactly. Getting 40 groups to agree to a meeting about a problem is hard enough. Getting them to agree that the solution isn’t the one they personally brought up is a nightmare and a half. Getting each of these pricks to put their precious little egos aside and listen to someone who knows more than them…”
“They won’t do it unless it’s their idea.” Carly said.
“Precisely. And they’ll fight like Hell against anyone telling them what to do, and will make life miserable for anyone trying to make things work. Short of either us, the state, or the Feds coming in and telling them they have to meet basic minimums, they won’t. And they’ll only go to the letter of the basics, or try some bullshit to justify why their shit meets that standard.” Adam said, leaning back in his desk chair. He let the silence hang in the air for a minute before continuing. “So, how’s the rest of your day look? You have lunch yet?”
Carly smiled. “Not yet, but I’ll probably have to skip it today. Have a meeting with George to go over some stuff. Some mentorship stuff. You?”
“I’m probably sticking close to the office.” Slight disappointment entered his voice, but he did his best to hide it. “We’ll have to follow up with the other departments. Some of them will listen to me, but a few won’t. You might have a better shot with the outliers. I’ll include you and Captain Jenkins on what happens and if I need a hand with them.”
“Me?” Carly asked incredulously.
“Yeah. If they won’t respond to a mail from a miserable old man, they might respond to, well… you.”
Carly scrunched her face in realization of what he was trying to say. “If they won’t listen to you, send the young woman.”
“Exactly. You probably noticed that like 90% of those guys were guys. I know for certain that you’d at least get their attention better than I would.”
“Umm, thanks.” Carly looked at her phone. “I’ve got to go. I took some notes during the meeting, and I’ll give the AI a once-over to make sure it’s what I think it is.” She grabbed her laptop and made her way to the door. “Bye.” She waved and left, closing the door behind her.
“Bye.” Adam said before just before the door closed. He took a long, hard look at her ass as she left, feeling something start to rise in his pants. He adjusted himself before getting up from his desk and checking to see if the door was locked. It was. His left hand was down his pants before he could get to the chair she sat in and felt the warmth her body left in it. He bent over where she sat and took a deep breath of the air, hoping to catch a whiff of her scent. It was flowery, but not overpowering, like lilies or lilacs.
He sat back down in his chair, left hand playing with his junk as he let his mind wander. Carly was smoking hot. Her curly brown hair, her blue eyes, that petite body, and the firmest, tightest ass he could imagine. She was a level of sexy far above what he’d normally get, with or without consent. Last time he had a woman that hot, he was down in Mexico and paid a little cocksucker for an entire week of fun. He wondered whether she shaved or had a trimmed bush, whether she was more of a moaner or a screamer.
The thought of sicking the Club on her hit him for a second, but he brushed it off. They couldn’t do it the traditional way. Carly was actively investigating the Club and knew that their modus operandi was to stage a home invasion and ambush the victim. If they did anything, it would have to be out and about, like getting her at a concert or on a run. He had no clue about Carly’s schedule outside of work, what her hobbies were, or what she liked to do aside from her private Instagram and Snapchat which he already had access to and her address in Deutschtown. Then there was the fact she worked with him and investigated shit like this for a living.
The logical part of him considered this a bad idea and should walk away now.
The hard cock in his hand told him that maybe, just maybe, he could consider it.
In the meantime, he’d head home after work and find some little cunt who looks like her and see her get used like a tissue. Then he’d see what he could find out about Detective Carly Graspper.
