Fun fact: There is a Roman telling where Juno (Hera) gets angry, because Jupiter (Zeus) gave birth to Minerva (Athena). So she decided to go to visit Oceanus to complain to him, but she got tired on her way, so she decided to have a rest in the house of Flora (Chloris). And while she was resting, she explained everything to Flora, who in turn told her that there was a way for her to get pregnant without a man being involved. Juno simply just had to touch Flora’s flower and Flora had to touch Juno's boobs. They did this, then Juno got pregnant and gave birth to Mars (Ares).
By the way, this was written by the same Ovid who wrote Medusa being raped by Neptune (Poseidon), and being cursed by Minerva. The man had some wild ideas.
Anyway, one moment of silence for Arcus (Iris). She devoted herself to Juno, to the point that she sleeps under her throne, and when the queen of the gods needs some other woman to impregnate her, she goes to Arcus's husband’s mistress.

^ The previous post brought me back to the college English class where we read the story of 'Leda and the Swan' from Greek mythology.
- I spent the rest of the afternoon imagining that Zeus had descended from Olympus and ravaged ME for hours in the crashing Aegean surf!!
