I can speak only for myself, but I like to be inspired by a theme to write a story. And to be frank just the theme of “gang rape” or consensual does nothing for me in the sense of inspiration.
Based on my personal experience, themes that can be interpreted or incorporated in different ways lead to the biggest response as it neither stifles the possibilities nor restricts the author in genre or plot.

To give an example: “Blue”
- this could be incorporated by the overall environment, like the cold blue moonlight. The vastness of the ocean.
- the feeling of being blue
- a character named Blue
- somebody having lost a bet getting their hair dyed blue
Etc.

That shouldn’t stop you from running those contests for gang rape or consensual.

I did not mean to restrict the story to consensual, but to expand from gang rape, aka non consensual, to gang bang and/or gang rape, aka gang tag, allowing both consensual and non consensual, but yeah, other themes may be more interesting, if they give more flexibility as you say.

At any rate I don't mind whatever is picked for this contest, I will perhaps try to think up something else, but I am not sure who is to run the next contest.

Next contest...good question. If we stick with my suggestion, then it would be my turn. But the question is, do we want to do a German contest first or run two in parallel?

Okay, then I'll participate in two contests.

We can also do it this way: you develop first, and I'll keep my idea in mind and focus on a German contest first so we can do more advertising there.

Just to be clear, my suggestion for the Gangrape Galore contest was always to pair it with a theme. I don't know, something like, Gangrape Galore - The Boys Are Back in Town or something like that (this is not a theme suggestion, my mind is just really stuck on doing something music related with stories at the moment).

All right, so I went with the Gang Rape Galore idea. I kept the format simple this time, mostly to keep the workload smaller for myself. So no anonymity this time, no knockout duels, just an old fashioned contest.

I would still like to see a German story contest soon. @LaLia, would you organize this one?
