I would say that depends a lot on what kind of story you want to tell. For example, let's say you want to write a story about a rape fantasy author trying to make his fantasies real. Then I would lean heavily into the contrast between what he imagined and what the real deal is like. In my own writing, I usually don't go for crazy positions. But if you wanted those more unusual positions to feel somewhat natural I guess that a blackmail scenario might work best to get the victim to comply?
